I've been checking studio availability for Christmas over the past few days and can see there were already people walking reservations. So I decided to stay walking 2 studios this morning. Thankfully I was able to book both. Now I'm in for a week of 4:50 am alarms to get the dates we want.  Any one else going for Christmas who has started walking their reservation already? |

I noticed this last week already. We had the same thing 2 years ago. We booked everything we wanted that was available, then each day add a day at the beginning…..

Shouldn't you be able to move them a little later in the day? The rare time I walked I had 7 nights I never had to get on immediately. It's usually on the first day that's the issue. But good luck to you!

That is one of the reasons I purchased a fixed week at Copper Creek ( this year is Dec 3-10th). It varies from first to second week of December. Never have to worry about booking it! Too bad they stopped selling those weeks less than 150 pts.

Shouldn't you be able to move them a little later in the day? The rare time I walked I had 7 nights I never had to get on immediately. It's usually on the first day that's the issue. But good luck to you! Thanks E, I need the luck. For a Studio at Christmas at VWL, you need to be on right when reservations open. There were literally no studios (much less two studios) available the entire day the days before I started walking. Dates are opening up behind my dates but it's not worth the risk. |

I know I’m late to this thread and that you did eventually get the 2 studios but why not just have waited and get a 2BR? It’s very nice at the end of the day to have a living room, kitchen and washer/dryer to enjoy your time together with your whole party.
And yes I do realize that 2 studios are cheaper than the 2 BR but just something to consider for future trips.
