I’m not sure where to put this, so I guess this will do for now I saw a video of this area on Instagram and then in another online Disney news source. I’m not sure what to even call it since I don’t think it’s really a walkway, but pavement, but I’m not sure what it’s made out of either. It looks like it would be a hazard to walk on and doesn’t appear to be flat. I think it’s outside Creations. Has anyone seen this area in person? I’m just curious. Maybe no one knows what I am even referring to either

They would never knowingly install a potentially dangerous surface…. Now am wondering if it will be slippery when wet.

That’s a different one, but that’s the walkway. Good to hear it’s flat.

And, I had the same thought about being slippery too.

Two of the close ups of the drain openings on the metal plates do make it appear as if they are not very flat. The picture between those two shows that the surface is not much different than say a cobble stone path.

I’m glad.
I really like the look of it. I will like it even better with no walls nearby!!

We saw it when we went to pick up our AP magnets at Creations shop. My DH and I said "That's nice" and really didn't give it much more thought. I like the trees and didn't think anything negative about the new walkway. It blends in nicely and is pretty. On another note, all pass holders must be present and have photo ID to pick up magnets. I don't like to bring much into the parks, so I didn't even have my ID with me. Thankfully, they accepted a picture of it on my phone.

When I saw pictures of the new walkway, my first thought was “after drinking around the world???” It just looked like a great opportunity to miss a step. Glad to hear that it’s not as textured as it appears on photos. It IS pretty, but my nurse brain is always looking for something that could cause injury. Occupational hazard…

Alcohol or water, I’m just as likely to trip over my own feet…. We shall see. Doesn’t appear to be as obstructive as the Main Street curbs, at least.

They appear out of nowhere to trip me up!

I'm surprised I don't see people tumbling every day by stepping in the streetcar tracks.
