DVC have now removed the exemption that waived standard “Disney Collection” rules for booking the Disney resorts at DL using points.
Their excuse is that it is now easier to book a DVC room with your points.
So should you want to use your points to book hotel rooms at the Disneyland Hotel, Grand Californian or Paradise Pier, you will now have to pay a $95 transaction fee and make the booking at least 4 months before the end of your use year.
