Hi All!
We have a trip booked in early December, staying at Kidani. A few of us may need to do a bit of work before our rooms are ready.
Is there someplace relatively quiet either at Kidani or Jambo to set up a laptop and phone in?
Thanks in advance./ cel

How about the community room at Kidani? It's been a few years since I stayed there, but I seem to recall a table with chairs where DD and I sat to do puzzles.

I do not know about Animal Kingdom, but there have been times in the past where I needed a space to do Business at Saratoga Springs. I stopped at he front desk and asked if they had a quiet space for work. They actually have an office or two (room with a door) for guests to use. This was a few years ago, so I am not sure it still is in use. I have had similar luck at Contemporary and Coranado Resorts.
Call the resort and ask if they have a room/space to use.

It's been a few years since I've stayed at Kidani, but IIRC they have a small office/business center (where I did airline check in and printed boarding passes) kind of around the corner behind the front desk. I don't know if it is now used for something else and/or accessible to the public, but you could ask at the front desk.

There's the "library" at Jambo, just after the front desk on the left behind the DVC stand.
I've done more than my fair share of conference calls in various resorts over the years, usually not too difficult to find a decently quiet area.

My husband had to remotely attend a half day meeting last year during our split stay on the day we were moving between Kidani and Jambo. He spoke with the front desk before hand and Kidani had some space he was able to reserve for that half day. They were very helpful and accommodating.

FWIW, the wedding pavilion near the Boardwalk is a good daytime work/conference call spot.

However, the last time I was in there. it was so full, I couldn't find a seat. Couples, eating, looking out the window, going in and out to the overlook (there's a little door there). I must admit that I hope I just hit it on a rare bad time. It used to be one of my favorite places to sit and read for a couple of hours.
