DD still loves legos, but has mostly aged out of Legoland for now. Still, I'm on the list for updates. An interesting update came today. Looks like the park is expanding again in 2024. This is on top of the Peppa Pig expansion a couple years ago, the 2nd resort hotel a few years back and the new attractions in the park. There are times when I think Legoland might be one of the better value parks in Florida. Plus, it's really great to see them succeeding in a location where several parks before them didn't make it. Good times!
NEW Aquarium: Dive into fun at the ALL-NEW SEA LIFE Florida, opening in the Fall of 2024!
NEW Attractions: Start your engines at the ALL-NEW LEGO® Ferrari Build & Race Experience, opening in Spring 2024!

Have you actually been to the “Peppa Pig land”?
It’s in the car park! And it really can’t be more than maybe 3-4 kiddie fun park rides.
Now perhaps my view might be different if we had gone at a lower crowd time than over Christmas, but we paid over $100 each and really didn’t manage to do very much at all. Compared to our previous trips it was the polar opposite.
We love Legoland Windsor. But at more than three times the price, horrendous food lines and posted wait times that were much less than the reality, I just couldn’t get the price for the Florida park out of my head.
Plus they got rid of all the Star Wars part of Miniland. 😟

I noticed the loss of the Star Wars in Miniland our last visit. That was sad. I did not inquire, but given the timing suspected it may have been related to the Disney purchase of Star Wars one way or another. I've never been on a busy day at LL. The closest we came was Thanksgiving day 2018, which still did not feel crowded to me compared to Disney holiday crowds. I wish LL had the Peppa Pig area when DD was little. She's long since outgrown that, so we missed it altogether. But if I squeeze in a LL day sometime before Standing Pines open, I'll check it out. I am very curious about the new pirate boats in the old Cypress Garden canals. That looks like it may be right up my alley.

I am interested in Legoland for my granddaughter. So can this be a one day park? Maybe we could rent a car and drive over for the day Fromm SSR.

I am interested in Legoland for my granddaughter. So can this be a one day park? Maybe we could rent a car and drive over for the day Fromm SSR. We’ve done it in one day but we did the water park and regular Legoland. We didn’t add in peppa pig world. It looked like from the map that the peppa pig rides were similar to what already existed in Legoland. We have really enjoyed Legoland. Both times we’ve gone on a weekday and it has not been overly busy. A nice change of pace from Disney. Relatively boring but easy drive (about an hour) from Disney. I feel like you can find ticket deals too. There’s an app you can download with wait times and stuff. I would say the park is geared towards age 11(max) and under and if the 11 yr old is a thrill seeker then legoland is not the place for them. Our kids had a blast both times. If you go get the apple fries!

I just looked at pictures to see when we went to Legoland, and it was over 10 years ago, 2012! Doesn't seem like THAT long ago, but time sure seems to be flying a lot faster these days. Anyway, we went on Thanksgiving day, to avoid the Disney crowds, and it was great fun! did rope drop, and got lots done. I do wish we'd done it more often when the kids were little, and made more than 1 trip there. Kids were 5 and 8 at the time. If we still had young kiddos in the house, would consider staying in the hotel. We all loved Miniland. Those displays were so cool. Glad to see they're adding more though . It was a fun change of pace at the time.

We really love LEGOLAND. We've been going since before LL Florida existed and it was just California... Then we moved east so LL wasn't as convenient, so when FL opened in 2011 we were over the moon. LL coming to Florida led to us taking so many more Disney trips since our go-to experience became something like 2 nights at LL Hotel followed by 5 nights Disney. We probably would not have become DVC members if it were not for those early trips that brought us back again and again. The hotel by the LL parks bills out on the level of a Disney Deluxe -- but it is so worth it. There are so many easter eggs and neat experiences. Originally they just had the one hotel, but today they've got the Castle and some cottages too (more like a Moderate). This year we're living the dream and going to where it all began, LL Denmark.

Going to LL Denmark sounds like the most amazing bucket list experience! That's incredible and I really, really hope you do a TR for that trip! I'm going back through some of my old youTube videos. Here are a few of the LL ones just for fun. Good times!
