You are in good company then!
Dinosaur is one our "must do" rides in AK. It unique and a really great ride when everything is working as its suppose to work. There is not a need to replace Dinosaur, just update/upgrade. But this is all about the IP, which Disney execs are hell bent on ruining.
For us this is our "must ride" (as long as it is running) when we go too. Safari is our must ride at AK. This is one we very much enjoy, but is much below safari in terms of mustness.
Cheers.

That absolutely is on our list as well. Expedition Everest is one of mine. FoP is my kid's. Many of the other rides are once in a while is fine with us. Triceratops spin is a no go as is Nemo show now (we saw it for the first time in forever and remembered why we skipped).

I don't see the big deal about this. I get to DL enough and like having Indiana Jones there. It's something a little different that we can't do in Florida. I don't need the two regions to have the same attractions. They feel like a totally different experience right now despite running on the same track system.

yawn...... Not a new ride, but a new overlay of an existing ride that already exists. WDW is not really giving us anything "new" on the horizon. Meanwhile, Universal is keeping Disney's proverbial ASS in park development. And lucky "us" is we get to pat Comast Billions of dollars in the next few months. Agreed. But yet neither of us is in any hurry to visit Universal…. You may beat me to it due to the grandsons. I may beat you to it if the new park impresses me at all…. Still an overall meh; at best an alternative, never a replacement. For us this is our "must ride" (as long as it is running) when we go too. Safari is our must ride at AK. Safari the only Animal Kingdom must-do for me. Dino/Indy once in a blue moon is plenty. Flight of Passage a bit more often.

GS 2 is also itching to go for the Halloween events.

Occasionally the bird show. Dinosaur. And then just walk around in the ambience. We're out by 11, and ready to hop to Epcot. Come January, we can actually do that again
Cheers.

We do FOP, Navi if line isn’t crazy. Then dinosaur, Everest, Safari. Do the gorilla walk and backtrack to Asia for the tiger walk and ice cream. Then lunch. Over to Tough to he a Bug, and back to Pandora for FOP. Then maybe another safari… If I’m by myself, FOP again followed by ice cream and a third safari. In between, I wander and look at whatever takes my fancy. I usually try to catch the bird show, and sometimes hit Dinosaur a second time. I’m all over the map, but I love that park.

Very similar to what we do. We also like walking under/around the Tree of Life (where there is another "backside of water" ). We are usually done around 11, and on our last few trips, we've been going to Disney Springs for lunch directly from AK.

I'm looking forward to park hopping like that again! We're kind of similar. FoP and Na'vi. Then Safari, Expedition, and Dinosaur. Bird show if we can. Walk around. Maybe see some animals on the trail. Depends on how busy they are. I think if we weren't regulars to our zoo so much we'd spend way more time there. Our zoo is also 580 acres so we get a lot there we cannot even see at AK. That reason alone is why I think AK isn't higher for us.

Pretty close to what Bruce said. Don’t usually bother with Dinosaur, though offer end up somewhere near that area to meet people for a drink for whatever reason. Usually make it a point to visit Nomad Lounge for a while and somehow often stop for a rest by the exit of the raft ride to see whatever I may happen to see… For me at Animal Kingdom as well as everywhere else the primary focus is always dining, drinking, and people watching. All preferably in air conditioning of course, or shade at least.

FOP. Navi. Safari. EE. Dinosaur. Lunch and then done. In that order. Really looking forward to going back to regular park hopping on my February trip.
