Wow, we are here now and never have not gotten a VQ, even for Rise when it was new. We did not get Guardians this morning right at 7am. Makes me think that we are walking into the lions den for crowds…😱

I never got Rise. I did get Gotg once (and it required CS intervention, and was a mistake for me). But I am 3-3 with Tron.

Makes me think that we are walking into the lions den for crowds…😱 I think some of the issue is Wifi speed(lack of) at the WDW resorts. It's often very slow, so even if you have fast fingers exactly at 7 AM, you get shut out or get a late boarding group. We failed to get Tron on our last trip, so we bought the ILL We've had good success with GotG. Frequently, Epcot is our arrival day park, so I get the GotG VQ from home at 7 AM. |

Use your mobile service, not the Disney "over loaded" wifi.

We are headed down on Friday. We only got ROTR once via virtual queue, have gotten Guardians multiple times, and hoping for both Tron & Guardians this time. The last time we've been at Christmas in 2016 and the beginning of the trip was light crowds. I booked this trip knowing we get out of school early again, hoping for a repeat. We shall see. Once our passes block out we are headed to Universal.

The only hints I can give is get off of Wi-Fi. Also use time.gov for the official time. It is pretty much dead on with Disney's time. I cannot say I have never gotten a virtual queue because I always have. I don't know if I have fast fingers or fast reflexes or what, but outside of an app crashing once during spring break I've always had great luck. I will say if you don't get it at 7:00, then try at 1:00 p.m. because it is so much easier. Good luck!
