They should have also announced a stricter return policy for the Q at Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind . It just seems that guests are ruining the advantage if they know they don’t have to maintain the return window. If you get an early morning window, the best time to go would be early morn because everybody makes the decision to return whenever they feel like it . And then it creates a long line for the virtual Q . So what’s the point of waking up early to try for a virtual Q which includes worrying about it all night long ?

I'm up early and usually feeling better in the morning. By evening I may bag it and skip the ride. Yesterday though the VQ for the morning lasted way longer than the afternoon. 59 minutes in the morning and 26 8n the afternoon. For Tron 26 minutes in the morning and the VQ never closed. Without park reservations this could get interesting. Today though each queue lasted about 5 seconds.

I also wished they were more strict in the VQ window. Maybe make the window a bit longer to give some extra buffer.

From what I see it doesn't really matter as the lines get longer mid day no matter what. I'm glad they aren't strict. Stupid monorail had us late for GotG once. Dining had us stressed 100% for Rise since they overlapped and obviously not by choice. We felt we couldn't even try for Tron one day because of a breakfast we had planned. That makes it bleh. Truthfully they need to drop the VQ as a whole. But that's me.

VQ is almost the only way we ride anymore. LOL I’ll take the VQ as long as they will have it, and I’m hoping they still have it next month. Without VQ, it is fight the hoard at rope drop, pay for ILL, or wait in a really long line. At least with VQ, I have 2 chances a day or I’m stuck with ILL.

VQ is almost the only way we ride anymore. LOL Yup. definitely fond of the VQ for Tron. 3/3 now and much better than getting in a line of paying for day-of choices with Genie+. And to Disney's credit, the tech works extremely well (the ride, however, does have its issues ).
Cheers.

I've been on the crap end of MDE crashes a few times now that made it impossible to get a VQ when I was supposed to be able to. AP renewal hosed it once, MDE crashing multiple times some short lived and some quite long lived. I appreciate the kindness of CMs during the more long lived issues.
