I'm more worried about spring break. I'm just tired of the whole thing if we're able to park hop. It will be interesting to see how the dynamic changes when infinite hopping is re-introduced. Been so long, I don't recall details from the Before Times for comparison. But it will be easy to see the differences from now. I do expect the early hours of various Epcot festivals to be busier as people can hop there then without having chosen Epcot.
Cheers.

My bigger issue this year is that I have never done spring break the week before Easter. Though with Passover not lined up with easter, I have no idea how the spring break is going to be anyway. Next year I think it should go back to normal for what I am used to seeing and being around. I'm just hoping it's not as bad as it was this past spring break which was actually two weeks earlier but aligned with many central Florida breaks. Our summer trip will be easy for us to try and compare the two together. That's pretty much the time we've been going every year since pre covid. We're not expecting much this year during spring break. When we found out our school moved spring break 2 weeks, we knew that it wasn't going to be quite the same as usual anyway. Since we'll be at Riviera maybe we should just do a bunch of Epcot days and then hop over to Magic Kingdom if we want. Though if we want to ride Tron I think we got to schedule a morning there at least. See this is why I want the stupid Park reservations to go away!

I am guessing that this really a way to drop the reservation system for most days and only use it on super busy days such as Christmas. The real question will be how far in advance will they declare it a “good to go” day and can they change their mind and cancel it taking the park back to a reservation needed day. Being a local AP holder I am good with this but if for some reason I have a must go on that day I will still be making a reservation.

We will continue to play their silly games I guess. Same here. We know where we're going anyway, so park reservations or not make pretty much no difference to us. As for things that need to change, this is way down on our list (and I realize that it's higher on others). For us, this is really a non-rule.
And, if they ever implemented Genie-in-advance, then we will certainly have parks picked out just like we did with FP+. In that case, the park reservation distinction will be irrelevant.
Also, as Brian has commented, even when I looked at making a change day-of (not to change, but as an experiment) we could get whatever we wanted, so it had no impact at all.
Practically a could not care less (or "could care less" for those so inclined ), for us. Again, others feel differently.
Cheers.
Couldn't have said it better myself... Do feel bad for those whom it does impact, but barring kids and/or must-do virtual queues it truly should be a non-factor for most. Can't stand the damn "could care less" either... Always, always the apathetic could not care less. That said, the whole damn resrvation thing can certainly disappear. I'd be one of the first to enter a park and walk right out just to fuck up their predictive models...

I do think once we get past spring break it shouldn't be a huge deal for us outside of VQs and kid favorite rides. But we can always do ILL if needed. I'd be happier when totally gone as I didn't even like FP+ prescheduling but being during a super busy time possibly I'm unsure what I will run into in March. I'm just tired of it all I guess.
