Disney has shared new details on how the new "Good-To-Go Days" will work for Walt Disney World Annual passholders. - On good-to-go days, Annual Passholders may enter the theme parks without needing a reservation (blockout dates will continue to apply like they do today).
- The theme park reservation calendar, Annual Passholder admissions calendar and My Disney Experience app will show days that are good-to-go. The first good-to-go days will be added to the calendars starting Jan. 11, 2024.
- Good-to-go days will be added periodically and may be released days or weeks in advance.
With the return of all-day Park Hopper access, Passholders can enter another Walt Disney World theme park any time during park hours. Annual Passholders may also continue to visit without a park reservation after 2 p.m. unless visiting Magic Kingdom Park on a Saturday or Sunday (blockout dates continue to apply). To use the Park Hopper benefit, Annual Passholders must make a theme park reservation for the first park they plan to visit AND enter that first park prior to visiting another. Or, they can enter a theme park without a reservation on a "good-to-go" day for that park or after 2 p.m. (except Magic Kingdom on Saturdays and Sundays) before visiting another park.

Just to confirm one point as I find it confusing in the above:
In general. if someone with an AP makes a park reservation and visits that park, they can hop to any other park at any time, regardless of the good-to-go days, i.e. the good-to-go days only allow reservationless entry.
But good-to-go days have nothing to do with anytime Hopping. Is that correct?
Cheers.

So can you break this down for us Non-Expiry ticket holders?

Good to go is for no reservation days where you don't have to wait until 2pm to get in (excluding the weekend MK thing). So can you break this down for us Non-Expiry ticket holders? This is AP only. AFAIK non-expiry ticket holders and ones like the military ticket holders will have to make park reservations still as well.

Of course, I'll b be OK with good-to-go days where I can go where I want without a reservation and then hop whenever. But the infinite hopping is key for us. Cheers.

Though only drawback is Tron and GotG VQs we've ridden them a number of times though GotG is my kid's favorite coaster. I don't mind paying though if needed (as long as we don't get one song lol)

Well I still have 21 months for Disney to drop the entire park reservation system before my next trip.

This is ridiculous! Here, veteran park goers are having to discuss how it works. Just think how confusing this will be for less Disney travelers. Just remove park reservations and allow park hopping for the love of God!

I suppose for local APs this is nice but for us I will continue to make park reservations not leaving it it chance that we cannot get into our desired park especially on a day trip or one overnight stay. I’m sure we could get in somewhere and hop with all day hopping but that’s not as easy as it sounds for all parks.
We will continue to play their silly games I guess.

Fine Print...gets me every time! This is ridiculous! Here, veteran park goers are having to discuss how it works. Just think how confusing this will be for less Disney travelers. Same here - we have reservations, although I may drop them if any of our days are "good to go" as we get closer to time. We'll see.

YEAH.....Disney actually made park tickets/park hopping even more complicated.
This is one of those two steps forward, one step backwards moments.
Just get rid of the F'king Park reservation system already. Covid is done, staffing is back.....time to move on from this bastardized park reservation system.

We will continue to play their silly games I guess. Same here. We know where we're going anyway, so park reservations or not make pretty much no difference to us. As for things that need to change, this is way down on our list (and I realize that it's higher on others). For us, this is really a non-rule.
And, if they ever implemented Genie-in-advance, then we will certainly have parks picked out just like we did with FP+. In that case, the park reservation distinction will be irrelevant.
Also, as Brian has commented, even when I looked at making a change day-of (not to change, but as an experiment) we could get whatever we wanted, so it had no impact at all.
Practically a could not care less (or "could care less" for those so inclined ), for us. Again, others feel differently.
Cheers.

I'm just tired of the whole thing if we're able to park hop.
