We just stayed in a Deluxe Garden Studio at VDH and it was AMAZING.
For your info and entertainment, we made a video walkthrough of both the resort and the room, and we even included footage of the new DVC lounge in Disneyland itself!

We've been able to stay here twice now, including opening weekend. Both stays have been in studios - one with preferred view (which was the pool area) and one with standard (which was the flat city of Anaheim). While whether one likes it or not is subjective, my family enjoys the decor. We especially love that the sofa bed is the type that pulls down from the wall and not the regular sofa bed. We are definitely going to need to book one of the grand villas. Those look amazing! Glad you enjoyed your stay. We were there just this weekend, so likely there at the same time.

The TOT is annoying. About $40/night for a standard studio.

Thanks. Was really wanting to buy there but that tax per point just turned me off. The transient tax will probably keep me from staying there even. If just me or one other I can do studios but whole family not less than a 1 bed. |
