What we liked:
Wagyu bun in Japan
Duck and dumplings, and Hummingbird Cake in American Adventure
Carne Asada and Lobster tostada in Mexico
What was just ok:
Grilled pork belly, kind of near Odyssey, where Future World and World Showcase meet--I wanted to love this; too much cheese so that's all I could taste; and the pork looked like loin, not belly; good concept that was not executed well.
Sushi donut in Japan. Supermarket fish on mediocre rice.
The lines were very long because it was opening weekend, so we ended up skipping a few other items we wanted to try.

Thanks for sharing. For whatever reason I always find the fewest food options that appeal to me at this festival, though bound to do a dinner or two around World Showcase. Actually reminds me to book a meal package or two as well since I do so enjoy the Broadway shows.

Thanks so much. I really appreciate any and all reviews. I've heard lots of positive comments about the hummingbird cake, yet it's one of the least expensive food items-that makes it a winner for me! I miss more seafood since the pan seared scallop is gone. That's why I was so excited to hear the positive review of the Tostada de Langosta.

What we liked: Wagyu bun in Japan Duck and dumplings, and Hummingbird Cake in American Adventure Carne Asada and Lobster tostada in Mexico These sound good! Especially Carne Asada & Lobster Tostada... I was hoping that these were two separate tostadas. I really don't see the flavors working together as the lobster is more delicate and would be overwhelmed by the beef. Especially a carne asada spicing,
Cheers.

They are separate items. The carne asada is served with cactus salad and small piece of grilled queso fresco. Tasty, but a small portion.

Cool! Thanks for sharing. This is my favorite festival at Epcot. We won't make it this year, so fun to live vicariously through other's TRs for this one!

Were there any complete misses? Items that were far less than just OK?

We did not try the hummingbird cake, though it sounded good. DW said Waygu beef bun was good. I also liked the sushi donut, but I was hungry at that pint and the rice portion filled the belly. But agree, grocery store quality. France slushy (sorry name slipping my mind) was delicious and DW liked the cheese bowl.
Did not care for the poutine at the place right before Canada. Meat was just ok and the potato puffs were awful.

Were there any complete misses? Items that were far less than just OK? None. We didn't hit as many booths as we'd planned, because some of the lines were really long and we opted not to wait.
