While I worry about the aesthetics of having food truck(s} along the board walk as long as they keep the seating it could work. Maybe bring the 4 rivers BBQ truck, I would love to get some brisket and take it up to the room to enjoy on the balcony. I am thinking the truck(s} will be temporary but at least it shows an understanding that they need something there. I'd like good BBQ on the Boardwalk, but that might compete with the BBQ place in Epcot. I'm thinking that WDW wouldn't want competing restaurants that close.

I think Disney has added enough BBQ as it is. Their versions of it have been meh at best. Not great for those who aren't meat eaters too. Truthfully I want something more casual at BW. They have enough more upper end or frilly fru fru like cake bake whatever coming in. ESPN had a nice casual atmosphere. The deli is a disappointment. Something good but not fancy, and easy to get into.

Something like that would probably be really good! Something that would have different types of burgers of all meat or plant-based types. Maybe tossing some salads and something like mac and cheese that can be used as a side or a main course if you need. I had a few beers some good drinks for kids and I'd say that would be ideal for there! Make it so that it could be like geyser point and you could sit down or do an easy take out

Now that the Lettuce Entertain You group is present in Disney Springs, perhaps they may take another spot in WDW. We’ve been to a number of their restaraunts when we’re visiting one of our sons in Chicago. A good hospitality business with varied themed locations.

I always prefer table service, but definitely agreed that a place with similar food options would be ideal. A sports bar, perhaps…

Big River Grille was always a disappointment for us. We gave it a try on two different occasions, neither was a wow.

Disney should turn the boardwalk into a small version of Paradise Pier. Pop Atlantic Dance for a variety of small clubs and turn the River Grill into a QS. The one place that keeps staying open which totally baffles me is the Pizza Place.

The one place that keeps staying open which totally baffles me is the Pizza Place. The pizza place used to be the best value on the boardwalk (buying a pie)…. Then the prices went up dramatically. I am guessing as the choices of places to eat are limited, people have no choice. So, it still makes money for Disney.
