I had a doodle muffin for breakfast. We only rode MMRR at Studios. Walked there and walked to Epcot. Walked thru Epcot to the monofail and it was a fail today too but we survived. DH didn’t want to ride anything so he even said no at MK. But!! I FINALLY had a Gaston’s cinnamon roll. He wanted to do 4 parks and ride a ride everywhere but the crowds were brutal. We looked up that Brazil is on summer vacation right now. There seemed to be lots of international tourists. Definitely not a slow week! TTC made his eyes bug out lololol! I at least knew to hop the resort monorail and it went fast because it was still early in the day. MK monorail was insane. I failed on quotes in a big way. Lol So no harm in making park reservations. Still salty over all of this and hope we see way more good to go days. Uh oh please say the monofail was not the Epcot line. That one rarely lets me down. The monorail around MK though... pass when I can. Yay on Gaston’s. Boo on crowds. I have a friend there now and she said crowds were brutal too. Makes me worry for Spring Break! At least this year's not a band year like next. I already said no way to anything other than my kid staying with me. The trip coordinator this year got notes from me. They wanted off site AGAIN with everyone riding rented busses to the parks. I gave a few suggestions. The travel agent tossed in USF again mid trip. So stupid. Monorail was at Epcot, but I really have to say that the stars were aligned poorly for me today. Anything that could be an annoyance was. I had gone through security at least 7 times and today at Studios I had to have my bagged searched and then again at Epcot IG. My bag was the same as every other day too. Of course, they didn’t find anything. My ticket didn’t work the next 2 times to get in. It was just a comedy of errors after awhile. We were sitting on the nearly empty monorail from Epcot to TTC when they announced there would be a delay for the car in front of us to have scheduled maintenance. It was only 3-4 minutes. TTC Though was crazy though for the line to MK. I would rather sit and wait than stand and then be in a standing room only car. The ferry was the same. It took 30 minutes from Epcot to MK total which isn’t terrible. Not fast, but not terrible. The resort loop was quick this morning. Another hot tip: Mobile order when you can. The dining plan returning has made the lines longer it seems to us. Gaston’s was long because people were doing meals. Of course, we picked the wrong line too though! We did have luck with the bus back to BWV though as we saw it pulling in when we came out. We almost went for the BC/YC one, but I saw the BW one pull in. Then, traffic home wasn’t bad either. And, I will continue to make park reservations until they are gone completely. I am worried about DS and DIL this Saturday. Their friends don’t have reservations for any park yet and tickets not being purchased till Friday. Last Saturday was a no go at Epcot and that’s where they are going. I do hate them.

I understand about days like those. Fortunately not a massive monofail. I've been stuck at a resort for 20+ minutes or stuck on one with little AC for that amount of time. TTC can be insane during busy times. Fortunately walking through there they do let the resort people coming from Polynesian not have to go to a long line. Losing all of that for the Disney band trip next year would be nice. I told her to make them price out onsite or at least Disney springs. One of the guys in charge of development wanted us to get superintendent permission so parents can take kid early. Uh no. Lordy people are stupid. I've forgotten. Day tickets or military tickets. Day tickets don't worry about park reservations. We do mobile order when we can. Not always possible with my stupid allergy.

They are buying hoppers, but what a pain for one day there...waste of time if they have to enter and then hop back to Epcot. Park reservations need to go. It's packed. Plan for it Disney! We saw 3 parks and they were all busy. Wait times at AK were high as well.

Anyone have any idea why it's so crowded this week?

We arrived Sunday. AK opened for early entry at 7:30 so when we arrived just after 9 we were “late”. FoP was 155 minutes. Bug’s Life and Dino were 25 if I recall, but everything else was 45 minutes or more.

I think it's kind of crappy that they make military tickets have to have Park reservations.

Like saying you're only good enough to get a discount, but we're going to make it a real pain for you to use your discounted tickets! What a thanks that is...

Are guests interpreting Good to go days as if they are Free to go ? Doesn’t make sense that reports are “brutal” crowds at Disney … I know the Daytona Speedway is beginning a series of race weeks for the rest of January and February… Is Disney having a special CARS Event at HollyWood Studios? I thought Disney discontinued sponsoring youth sports but it sounds like they are in town too! It feels like nobody works and nobody goes to school anymore. Are we all just trying to get our moneys worth with Annual Passes cause we fear we won’t be able to afford them soon ? …waiting for the price increase announcement any day now…

We had a price increase already at the end of 2023 so I sure hope there isn’t another.

It's pretty ridiculous the amount of fanfare Disney created around the "good to go days" when most reservations/planning is required 30-60 days in advance and there are no good to go days listed more than a week out.

I’m just going to call them Good to Avoid Days Thanks Disney for making it so much easier: And they have added a few days in the month of February… Planning to avoid Feb 1 , Feb 4 , and Feb 6 listed dates as good to go crazy per Disney

It actually annoys me more than just having park reservations especially when we experienced the crowds with those days too! Makes it seem like we are getting thrown a bone and actually we are not. Agreed about dining too.
