Memory Maker question--my son and future daughter-in-law are going on their honeymoon the end of July. DH wants them to have Memory Maker to be able to download pictures from their trip but also so her mother and stepmother can see their pictures while they are on their trip. If my son adds both as family to his account and sends them a link, will they be able to look at the pictures? And do they need to set up their own Disney accounts? They'll be able to see the photos but only with a watermark over them...at least from our experience with our June trip. I purchased Memory Maker w/ my account. Ride photos and park photographer photos showed up for everyone in our party (who were all linked in my friends and family list and given access to my Disney PhotoPass Photos) but only I could see the photos w/o a watermark. After we got back from our trip, I downloaded all of the photos and created a shared album in Apple Photos (with a website link for our anti-Apple son, lol) so that everyone could locally save the pictures they wanted and also upload any personal photos taken that they thought everyone in our party of 11 would be interested in.

Thanks. We haven't used it since 2013, so I wasn't sure it would work.

My wife had a "stupid question" which made me momentarily confused when I tried to answer it, even though I'm pretty sure, so I guess that makes it a "stupid question" from me, too.
Pretend I had December UY points that were set to expire, my understanding is that they expire Dec 1, meaning the last day you could use them would be Nov 30. (first of all, that IS how it works, right?)
So she asks, even if you book the trip before, they would still expire December 1st, I'm like, "...Yes?..." I'm sitting here thinking about it, and of course they expire Dec 1, regardless of when you booked the trip? Because we all book early. The booking doesn't "use" the points; if I want to vacation December of this year, I better have some Dec 2024 UY points, not points from Dec 2023 UY (or before, if banked) that will expire on Nov 30 this year.

You have it right. 2023 UY point needed to be banked or used for a stay completing Nov 30, 2024. A Dec 2024 trip needs 2024 points. Or banked 2023 or borrowed 2025.

I thought so. But I got to thinking too hard!

I swear December UYs really make it more complicated feeling too.

Maybe a stupid question, maybe not. But I don't know the answer We have booked MNSSHP for Oct. 29. When I look in the app, or the website, I see our various plans for the trip - where we're staying, the park reservations I've made and a Topolino's ADR. They show up on the Future Plans view. But the MNSSHP does not show up there. The tickets are in Ticket, just fine. But I don't see a way to have them show up within our plans to show that we have something on Oct. 29. Is there a way to have it show up there? Cheers.

When MDE notes we don't need a park reservation do I cancel the park reservation for that day? Do I need to do anything?

I didn't know about that Notes feature (and really never had a reason to use it before). This did exactly what I wanted. I didn't really need to link the official item - I just wanted to see it in the Future Plans and there it is...on the App as well. Thanks!
Cheers.

It comes in handy for water excursions and other extras that don't show too. I'm glad it exists so I can put all info there. Great when they want proof with a confirmation code when parking.

I also didn’t know about the notes feature. I just used it and it worked just fine. Thanks for the info.

Hey, since we're usually AP, haven't had this in a while, but for this upcoming trip, kids and I are only getting 3 day PH tickets. Comparing prices, might end up w/ third party like AAA or Undercover Tourist, but either way, direct or third party, if we pick our first day to start on Monday, but we don't actually use the ticket until Tuesday, will that be an issue? I think it's cheaper to buy them starting on Monday. We know we get 5 days to use them, but wanted to see if any issues starting 1 day after the original chosen date. Thanks!

As long as they’re valid for all the days you want to visit, you’re good.
