As this is the place to talk NFL and Disney here is the real question: IF KC wins will Kelce AND Swift do the " I'm going to Disney World / Disneyland " promo? Was it included in the agreement when Disney+ got her concert film? Inquiring minds want to know, well actually not we are not huge Swift fans and only casual NFL fans so not high on our list.

We attend Field to Feast event yesterday and as always it was a great fun. Field to Feast is a fairly quiet Disney charity event put on buy the magazine Edible Orlando and features Chef's from several of WDW food groups and wine paired by George Miliotes (wine bar George). There are also a few Cocktails (The Buffalo Trace orange and strawberry was my favorite) This year some of the booths were chef groups from Flying Fish, Narcoossee's, Tiffins, Cali Grill, Epcot World Catering, Be Our Guest, Disney Food and Beverage Catering and desserts including a Cars themed one from Art of Animation and the Famous Mickey Beignets from Port Orleans Resort. On the way out you even get a small box of chocolates from The Ganachery in Disney Springs. Field to First is hosted by Long and Scotts farm which is about 40min north of WDW. The event supports the Orlando Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida The Kids Cafe Program so it is not an event where you go looking for value (i.e. the tickets aren't cheap).
The food is first class and while being small plates it is every bit the quality of what the restaurants serve. I must admit I had several of the scollops from Flying Fish and the Blacken Red Fish from Narcoossee's were my favorites. If you're a foodie and don't mind dropping a few bucks for a good cause I would suggest keeping your eyes out for next years event.

Personally, I'm done with the Kelce's. The elder brother has already been warned about CTE (?) damage and he still won't retire officially. Get over it dude. We were on vacation in France in '22 with an 86y woman who had to take care of her football spouse with extensive damage. At 86 she's finally 'free' to enjoy life. Really? My sister just buried her husband in December after years of 'early onset dementia' diagnosis linked to HS sports head trauma. The younger Kelce said he's thinking of retiring after this season due to all his physical ailments. He actually sounds smarter than the older bro. Grab Taylor and run for the exit.

Sounds like a great time and for an even greater cause.

I'm trying to work but the dog keeps asking for attention. How's everyone doing this wet and rainy Monday?

I'm trying to work but the dog keeps asking for attention. How's everyone doing this wet and rainy Monday? We're on Oahu and it's bright and sunny. Although it looks like we're in for a bunch of rain at home toward the end of this week, and we go back Wednesday.
Cheers.

We were in the 60s. Now we're not. At least the snow disappeared from our forecast. And supposedly our band is not going to Disney next year. Woot! Too complicated
Busy with costumes. That's my life now until next month.

Rainy day in Tennessee, and going to get cold. I had my first day on the phones, taking calls, since last May. It was rough! I've been training new hires since then, and it was a huge rude awakening to having to interact with people again like this.....Happy Monday to all! Hope everyone has great weeks.

I’m going to DL or WDW promo commercial presented after a Super Bowl Win is for the MVP . Most Valuable Player The first year KC Chiefs won Patrick Mahomes announced Im going to WDW and this is the second time they will be going to DL . Next year the game is in New Orleans I hope they announce WDW again since it is closer to fly to. Patrick and family must be Bacl in Kansas City for the huge Celebration Parade on Wednesday ! They will cancel schools for the day It is FUN . And very popular for this proud town !
Also Disney Does not have a “parade” down Main Street . It is a cavalcade with one float and the MVP with Mickey and confetti ..
It is also fun to attend ! And popular !
Maybe next year TK will be MVP and propose in front of the Castle to his true love ❤️…

Maybe next year TK will be MVP and propose in front of the Castle to his true love ❤️… What if she said no? Let’s face it, she’s had a string of boyfriends, including several famous actors. The only one who lasted more than a couple of years was the British actor Jon Alwyn, which was a very low key relationship by her standards. If she and Kielce are still together by next year’s Super Bowl I’ll be surprised.

Good post from Disney Tourist Blog on the announcement of the opening of Tiana's Bayou Adventure for "Summer 2024". They peg their best bet for "official" opening date for June 20 or 27. The Tiana animatronic looks amazing. No more flat, projected faces. Count me as excited, since my upcoming trip is right in that timeframe.

The sun has dried up all the rain and the afternoon is a balmy 60. That's more like it!
I cannot imagine the pressure of being in a relationship with Taylor Swift. Or being her, I guess, but that's a whole different thing. Good luck to them.
I stopped by dollar store to get V-day cards for family for tomorrow. That place was busy & their holiday supplies were about gone. I guess this town likes Valentines more than others where we have lived.
Does anyone else celebrate Valentine's at all? I feel like any excuse to celebrate is a good one, but may be the minority opinion on this one.

I have a friend whose birthday is Valentines Day. She never gets to celebrate her birthday because no one wants to go out! Ever since she was in her mid teens.

We don't do Valentine's day. Mostly because honestly we are just about celebrated out with birthdays that start end of November and go all the way through the end of February (mine was the 4th). We really don't need an excuse for one more day of extra stuff and I'm usually looking forward to dropping any extra holiday weight that I've gained at this point. I'm not a card person much either.
