the beer is not cold when it's delivered to the room my BS Yeah I agree, it's B.S. that the beer isn't cold!!! hee hee I used to use Garden Grocer too and the beer would be in the same paper grocery bags with everything else, but it's been probably 3-4 years. I have heard that things have changed at Bell Services. Speaking of things that have changed, when Magical Express went away we started flying into Tampa and renting a car, so we get our own groceries. And beer. And stuff in bottles. An extra cost but I guess I'm saving money on Garden Grocer's crazy prices? and/or other delivery fees. One time I used the app "Drizly" or "Drizzly" and it worked out well, a very nice guy brought margarita and beer and chips and salsa right to my room at OKW. Yep, changed so that you have to meet in person for alcohol. Iffy if you don't meet. Disney policy |

Hey, DH did a grocery order last month, Instacart from Publix, to BLT, and it did include beer. He was there to meet the driver, and pick up delivery. He scheduled the delivery time, and while it was a little earlier than expected, driver communicated, and no issues. He did use a luggage cart to bring the groceries up. Not sure of those options at POR, but also when he did a grocery order at Riviera, he just brought an empty suitcase, and brought it all back in that. We've shopped a few times at the Super Target and Publix on 192, the Publix north of MK, and DH has been to the Walmart near Univeral and the Walmart south of 192. THat last Walmart was insane! The Walmart south of 192…it was June-ish and it was worse than Christmas in there. Just nuts. We go here even right at opening to avoid the insanity. One time here in Ocala I had to go get a cart from the parking lot! Yes, it was like someone said 'hurricane,' the couple times we've been. Just completely nuts!! DH does all the grocery shopping here, thank the Maker. I can't stand any of those stores anymore, Costco is the worst around here in terms of busyness. We're so excited for Epic Universe too. That's also going to be so insanely busy for a long time, but we can't wait to go! All of the lands look incredible. |
