This service makes complete sense for larger parties in grand villas. These larger groups are the hardest to plan and are likely to spend big $$$. These folks are using lots of cash or points to stay in a 3-bedroom and are also likely to spend more than the average guest. Disney needs these groups to have a great time so they keep coming back. A week or so ago I finally calculated the total cost of our OKW GV using MFs/point based on use year of each point and I'm kinda sorry I did, lol. And, I used 2024 MF price for 2025 points which means what I calculated is lower than actual. But, I am so glad we have the ability to do this for our family now that we're owners.

I have to say the Treehouses are a 'deal' - 41/44 points per day for a 2.5 bedrooms, although sleeping 9 people would be tight, it seems spacious for 4. We'll see how the requests pan out cause we did ask for a few we've previously been unsuccessful. BTW, finally looked up Space 220 on the map and no wonder I never could find that place (not that I was really searching).

For anyone who's taken advantage of the service, do they help with booking in-park experiences too, like droid or lightsaber building? I'm likely focusing too much on the wording used but it's not clear if "dining, recreation, and tours" covers "experiences" like those found under the Enchanting Extras Collection. Yes, they help in booking other stuff besides dining. For out December trip they booked us a pontoon fireworks cruise, which the Club could not get. They also booked for us a behind the scenes Elephant tour at AK. Elephant tour?!? I didn’t know they did that. How was it? Worth the money?

Out daughter in-law loves all things elephants. We did this as a Birthday gift for her. It was a big hit for her and everyone.

Cheers.

Update: The DVC team gave us every reservation we asked at the times we asked. Nice. Glad to hear this! We received our email for the service this week (yay!). Let's see how they do finding a few dining reservations (same time or adjacent times) for a party of 11. We're staying in an OKW GV which follows the "the service is generally offered for large parties or those in GVs" pattern. Now to bug the family again to send me their top 5 table service choices (we're looking to do only 3, maybe 4, sit-down meals all together) and any tours or extras they may want to do so I can have the info to MS before the deadline.

I had to call yesterday to take DH's brother off our reservation and thankfully this didn't effect the ADR's. Anyway, I was told it was a lottery because it is a pilot program.

We received our email from our Member Experience Specialist this morning with the ADRs they were able to put on hold for us; I finally had a break in conference calls about 20 minutes ago to call member services (maybe a full 1-minute wait on the phone) and confirm that every ADR they found was good and to officially book 'em all. So, consider us big fans of this pilot service. Of our 6 ADR requests, 5 were for all 11 of us (1 was just 4 of us and something I probably could have gotten myself), all were within the timeframe we wanted, and 4 were for the exact time we preferred. For the "all 11 of us" ADRs, they split us into groups of 6 and 5 and got ADRs at either the exact same time for both groups or within 5 minutes of each other. For those who like details, our requests were for: - late lunch between 1-2:30pm with 1:30pm preferred for all 11 of us at: Biergarten, 50's Prime Time Cafe, Sci-Fi Dine-In, and Roundup Rodeo BBQ; they got us 1:30 (both groups) for two locations and 1:05/1:10 for the other two locations
- breakfast between 9-10am with 9:30am preferred for 4 of us at Garden Grill; they got us 9:30am
- breakfast between 9-10am with 9am preferred for all 11 of us at Olivia's; they got us 9:00/9:05
I'm so glad I didn't have to be up at 6am juggling two MDE logins and browsers trying to get these booked this morning.
