Apologize if this has already been addressed, does anyone have a realistic idea when we would be able to make points reservations. We have a stay booked at BCV the first week of March but with the pool closed would move to the new Tower in a 1 Bed. We currently do own points at Poly so could book, just don't know when this would be an option. Thanks, It hasn't been answered yet. My gut is saying we won't see points until the current promotion ends in a few weeks. We'll have sales announced and then after we'll get to book on points. I created a guesstimate chart based on numbers comparing other rooms and resorts and such but I didn't guess they'd do penthouse but did guess 3 room views. I am unsure if my numbers will be close or not.

Thanks for the link! I don’t think I ever saw the plans. I’m glad to see there is a water play area in the plans at least. Good point about the size. The pool I’ve seen does look bigger than the rendering.

This rendering of the pool was posted to the wdwmagic forum. I don't know if it's new or from where it was obtained. The pic was posted on the Disney World site for the Hotel.

I am digging the studio layout. Designers were smart putting the bed next to the balcony door. This puts all the open/flex space in one area, making the room seem larger than it actually is. Having that room around in is nice, especially with the kitchenette right there too.

I don't think Bill will like that set up because he wakes up so early, but I like it. He'll wake me up when he gets up. But he might get lost on the way back from the car too and never see the room. Hard to know till we are actually in it with lighting etc too. He can hide a bit when it's out of the room more and around the corner.
I will most likely hunt for the duo studio anyway for one night. Time will tell. We will only stay one night too just to say that we did. We are less and less MK fans.
We were less bothered by transportation before 2020, but now bus and monofail we use very little. He's never been a huge fan of the boats especially at night on the smaller ones.

As a solo traveler I prefer the bed first but I get it. Oddly our last trip made us realize we prefer MK area more. The Epcot monorail isn't bad at all and I prefer it over others. But we do avoid the resort monorail. I grew up with boats and love them too. But ask me 10-15 years ago and I was on my BCV & BWV kick. Funny how things change. I think the IG changes and my growing disdain of DHS and my desire to do MK in small quantities has gotten to me plus MK service from BWV was lousy.

I'm quite fond of the way that render shows the lighting and the colors.

Love the layout of the studio. Banquette for eating, working and iPad use. Stool under counter…which I enjoy using at Disneyland Villas. Bigger kitchen area. And, the bed / sofa flipped (hope the sofa is comfy).
Is that a dishwasher??

They're fine for me but many say are stiff.

But at least the cushions stay on and don't gradually slide off. Laura

We just returned from Disneyland Villas…had a 2 bed and a studio. The couches were comfy. Very much unlike BWV. Fingers crossed.

I like the studio layout, especially the banquette. Gives a feeling of spaciousness.
