I think this layout is very good for long term stays but I would prefer the bed flipped for better access to the balcony, that is where we spend most of time when we are there for one or two nights. I am also good with the studio sleeping 4 I like to have the drawers. Glad to see that they are dumping the disposables. We typically bring our own coffee cups and wine stems anyway but it is nice to have real plates and not ones they try to blow away when you are on the balcony.

I am digging the studio layout. Designers were smart putting the bed next to the balcony door. This puts all the open/flex space in one area, making the room seem larger than it actually is. Having that room around in is nice, especially with the kitchenette right there too.
Does anyone else think the rug looks odd under the bed rather than in front of the sofa? Laura

Laura I think it is there so that when you step out of bed, you actually have a rug to stand on. If you put it in front of the sofa, I worry that it would get damaged or dirty much faster

I was thinking they were trying to keep the the bed legs from scratching the floor if it gets moved around. Ok get your minds out of the gutter it is Disney, I meant when the kids are jumping on the bed....

I thought to protect the floor from storing stuff under the bed. might not be exactly that way either. Think of the money saved if there is no rug. Similar to removing items during refurbishments.

In all other studios the bed is directly on the floor. They may be afraid it will be a tripping hazard in the middle of the room. My DH gets up at least 3 times a night to go to the bathroom and uses a cane to walk. I could see that rug in the middle of the room as a real issue. In my opinion they should have just eliminated the rug all together.

I like what I’ve seen, both pictures and video. Definitely will be the site of some future stays, plus easily walkable to my Grand Floridian lobby as well. I’ve been accused of being bland. Indeed, I’ve also liked all the recent resort refurbishments. Is there a correlation there? I don’t give a shit. Ha ha ha I love that Brian is geniune Based on floorplans I think this is just what they decided to release for sure for cash offerings. I caught that too though in my updates. Lock offs were missing too and we know for a fact they exist Disney don’t use the lock-offs for cash reservations at resorts where there are dedicated 2-beds. obviously they have to at BWV and (Jambo?) where there are only lock-offs., When we stayed after the pandemic at BLT, We used both points and Cash to stay in a 2 BR Lock-off Villa I'm glad to see DVC is getting a Poly DVC Tower {Hi Peeps } ..... for those who know me, the reason I haven't been on MO for a long time is that I Believe Walt Disney wouldn't be happy with how expensive everything is at WDW, Park tickets for the whole Family, Have to pay for Fastpass, ect., But I still like to go to WDW especially with the Grandchildren, But I know Walt wouldn't be Happy
