Even if Geyser started accepting reservations the bar would almost definitely still be available for walk-up. Just like most places. I selfishly wish it did start accepting rservations. Wailulu, too. Just so I could park at both without issues, ha. Agreed the pocket gardens will only be for those staying on property. Even then they might have issues with supply versus demand, depending on how nice they are... If the Wailulu bar and grill is only walk up, I'll invite you over when we're staying at the tower so you can park there and check it out some time. I just knew when we were booking to go next year LOL. We do have spring break, but just at the long houses and it will be a Monday through Thursday trip only. Given the way dining is at the Polynesian right now, I kind of do hope that they have the new one to be walk up only. I know, sounds awful, but so many people overrun the lobby at the great ceremonial house building already for 'Ohana. So I'm being selfish here. But you could always come for a good drink after a morning at Magic Kingdom too easily. Definitely all fair points. And of course will gladly join you regardless, thanks. My 'conspiracy theory' is that they aren't sure yet how many floors of the Tower they're actually going to be able to open on time. I actually don't think that is it. Mostly because of the room types they already put to be available for opening day via cash. Also the interiors seem to be fairly well along. It's more the exteriors that have me wondering, but they can do some things really fast. I just want that darn walk way to Grand Floridian back open too. Agreed completely on the walkway!

I received an email today with a “50 days left” to get the discounts on Riviera and Cabins, so hoping that is a sign. It may be that long away.

I hope so as my 7 months will be end of Oct or early Nov. Depending on days we decide. It's cutting it very close for opening. I think 50 days is too long though. I don't think the sales at CFW play in anymore after yet another dismal month of sales.

Another site mentioned point charts being released Tuesday for the Tower. I was just reading today that sales were suggested to be Oct 1st. Which site said Tuesday for charts? Just curious. During football season I get particularly behind on keeping up with info. Especially when it's in conjunction with your spouse's birthday lol

1 & 2 bedrooms as a whole (outside of the first season) are lower than I thought they'd be. I think the penthouse villas helped balance those more. The duos are also higher than I expected. Glad to have them though.
We will be staying end of May or early June there. I have 604 PVB points I can use there at least so we can pick almost anything we'd want.
I want to do more side by side with VGF as well, but I have work to do LOL

Ready those credit cards people! You have 6 weeks to make room for that New Poly purchase!
Nov 4th for booking a room for December.....talk about last minute reservations, sheesh. I feel like that is such a fail for the new Poly members. I wonder when they will allow non-Poly owners to book?

I feel like that is such a fail for the new Poly members. I wonder when they will allow non-Poly owners to book? They just updated to Oct 15th on the website. Weird thing is, the wording literally changed as I was going back to copy for another post. I edited the one above to reflect the date change. Okay looks like logging in changed it for me. For members above is what it is, and for non-members below. I'll edit my post (again) On Sale October 29 Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows Introducing Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows*—the newest Disney Vacation Club addition—projected to open December 17, 2024. I am so glad we already own there. I think we're okay with the amount we have, but if I add on again, it'll be small. We have enough for a 1 bedroom every year and we plan to rotate a little - not a lot, but a little. And we have OKW points to toss in for now.
At $225 I think resale prices that are in the $190-200+ will have to drop a little. $175 feels okay for new. Still a savings.
