When renewing passes, I hope folks don't neglect to get discount UT tickets and Bridge to Gate Price. It's a bit more work, but we saved about $60 per AP this way. Cheers. Isn't it cheaper to buy Disney gift cards at Target with the RedCard for a 5% savings and then use those gift cards to purchase tix from Disney, and then bridge to the AP? Isn't it cheaper to buy Disney gift cards at Target with the RedCard for a 5% savings and then use those gift cards to purchase tix from Disney, and then bridge to the AP? I was doing math on discounted gift cards and I think I will do better off with a regular discount like that then trying to bridge so that's what I'm about to do for the tickets. This isn't relevant to the bridging discount but only to the gift card conversation..... I have no idea where ratfan lives or exactly where Elaine lives but if you are familiar with the Meijer store chain, I have news you may not be aware of! Meijer has a loyalty program, as most larger stores do. Using their program we have saved 30% on Disney gift cards. Yes, 30%! That is the top we can save with 10% being the bottom end of the rainbow. They sell gift cards whereby a $50 card gets you 5000 points. 10,000 points gets you $1.00 off gas, up to 30 gallons, for the best deal. The lowest is 10,000 points gets you $10 off groceries. Hope that helps.

I think I shop there maybe once every 4 or 5 years another store has what I need and I can do store pickup. But that is great for people who do shop there and could use this well.

I wonder if one could do this online, and not have to go to an actual Meijers. This is a killer deal.
The only concern I have with GCs is if there is a limit, like the CostCo ones had (we all exceeded the posted limits, but it did, eventually stop). Since discounted GCs are the only way to save on MFs and stays, I'd prioritize those with GC limits. Then bridging is another way to save on APs, available only there. So, it could come down to maximizing across all Disney spend.
Cheers.

Had to do 2 different purchases but saved $100 on $2k worth (buying 2 APs). I haven't gotten into paying MFs myself that way as we have done monthly but could do it every month to save some I guess.

I love a great discount and I really love it when you can double and triple stack the deals!
The stores are located in Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, and Wisconsin. I read on their website they are #14 largest private employer in the US. Not bad for only being in five states.

I need to find a wholesale seller of the gift cards. We buy at least 25K in Disney cards per year to cover our DVC and Disney trips.

I'm happy enough with the 5% I saved. Do the same with Southwest now that travel funds don't expire. Just buy a bunch on sale and enjoy saving.

Funny....After I posted the above, I went searching for that very thing. Well, I found that Disney has a Corporate bulk purchase website for gift cards. To gain access to the site, you have to register with your company name, tax id, etc.
The auto response said that they will review my application and respond back in 2-3 business days. Since robin has the Travel Agency that specializes in Disney Travel, that might help get me in. I will post when I hear back from them .

Spouse and I were just talking a short while ago about how maybe we should consider buying more discounted gift cards more often to pay for things. I think you have a better shot than someone like me who sells diamonds and such 🤣

Costco's discounted Disney gift cards last winter were pretty great, especially when combined with some credit card rewards. Here's to hoping thye bring it back.
