Our family’s annual passes (DVC Sorcerer Pass) expired yesterday. When I went to look at renewal cost last night, I do not see that pass as an option. Has Disney stopped selling the Sorcerer pass? Or am I doing something wrong?
Only thing I see is one for $1400+ for each renewal.

Just renewed ours yesterday, I believe they were $904 each (or close to that).

Thanks!! I got caught up in the period that they were not selling annual passes after covid and was afraid I’d be going thru that again.

On the other hand - for a family of 4, that's what, roughly $2,000 per year in AP savings? Back when we originally bought DVC, I used such fuzzy math and hypothetical savings to convince DH it was a smart money move. After all, we'd be going to Disney and getting APs anyway; might as well save some! If memory serves, our first DVC purchase was resale SSR at maybe $2,500 for a tiny package of points before the restrictions really kicked in for resale. And FWIW - - ditto what everyone else said. Just call to renew.

Is the $904 price for the Sorcerer Pass renewal the price with tax, or before tax?
Also, for bridging the ticket to gate, does the total gate price (ticket + tax) just have to be below the total AP price (ticket + tax)? I'm seeing a ticket at UT that costs $755 and has a gate price equivalent of $835.81 base plus $54.33 tax, for $890.14. So, the total is less than the AP renewal total, the base would be less than the AP base (assuming that the $904 is post-tax). The total for the UT dated ticket would be more than the pre-tax gate, but I think they compare apples to apples, so post-tax to post-tax, yes?
Cheers.

OK, so I called (got through immediately) and answered part of my question: It is $849 pre-tax and $904 with tax.
So, I think that the $835/$890 UT ticket should work since the gate total is less than the AP renewal total.
To further answer my own questions, the total price mattered. I got a slightly different pass, but saved about $60 each.
And had the least issue with bridging ever. She actually asked me what the ticket cost, so I told her what the Gate Price would be, and she just used that. Almost as if she didn't see it.
Cheers.

If I am doing the math correctly, it looks like (for anyone with a Target Red Card) buying Disney GC's at Target with the Red Car's 5% discount, is more savings than bridging. $904 - 5% ($45.20) is $858.80. And if you have a credit card with targeted cash back offers (Chase does this; I don't know about other cards), you can sometimes find a store with cash back greater than 5%; e.g. right now there are some Chase cards with $10 back at office Max/Office Depot, with an $11 max cash back. The purchases of smaller denomination Disney GC's can be combined on the Disney GC site.

I saved just over $60/ticket, so a bit more than above. Combining bridging with paying using discounted cards stacks the deals.
Cheers.

Interesting info. This is the first time in many years we did not renew our AP since we had a considerable gap between visits. So the actual vs renewal price might be worth looking into bridging.

Bridging works the same in both cases, so you'd still be out the difference with a new ticket, i.e. the savings would be the same in either case and the relative difference is the same.
Cheers.
