I have some, picky about what I like. I still need 3 more for the DVC resort set from 2015. DW got me one of the DVC pins with the big Frame on them from I think 2020, had to get the others. About 25 other random ones that caught my eye.

I collect the DVC pins. I haven’t got them all. Still need Riviera, VGC, and Animal Kingdom. And any “UP” pin I can find I will buy!

My kids used to be into pins, so we've accumulated a lot. The most interesting/unique, IMO, is a Kim Possible pin we got for testing the Kim Possible game in Epcot. I think it was only given out to guests who volunteered to test the game. I also have a lanyard and pins from Who Wants To Be A Millionaire because I got to the hot seat once, made it to 125K.

I wouldn't say I collect them but for a while a few years back, I was getting ones I thought were cool. Mostly focused on retro Epcot stuff. I like my one of Orange Bird sunbathing. I also managed to get Jessica Rabbit in a bikini, holding a surfboard, with Roger standing there.

I collected when they were first becoming popular and have hundreds and hundreds, literally. One of these days I am going to go thru them and find an avenue to sell them.

I have tried to hold back into really getting into collecting the pins. I love them! But I fear they will make their way alongside my Beanie Babies…LOL

I have hundreds and hundreds too There's a couple of super active FB groups where folks will buy entire collections for about half of the current retail value. If you want to sell individual pins, those FB groups are great - folks just post pics of their for sale collections and folks will buy the ones they want. My goto FB groups: Disney King Pins

I trade/collect Disney pins. I do it mostly for the fun of it, a way to interact with the cast members since I go solo so often. Generally I just trade for something that catches my eye. I keep/collect pins on rare occasions.

We don't trade, but our "thing" is to have a shadow box on our wall with a pin that represents each trip we take (anywhere, not just Disney). Since we go to Disney a lot, we have a lot of Disney pins on there!

Thank you for this. I am getting ready to retire and will then have some time to deal with this.

I like to collect pins but I never got into trading I really only bought the ones I liked. One of my Christmas presents was a neat pin board shaped like Mickey's head. I am looking forward to displaying my pins because right now they are all stored.

I have an absolutely ridiculous size pin collection. +1 One game we used to enjoy years ago when travelling to WDW with family & friends: Lanyard Competitions!- Hand everyone a lanyard loaded with 12 random, cheap-o pins.
- Let each person draw a category from the hat.
- First person to complete their category, by trading pins in the parks & hotels, gets their dinner free. (The rest of us pick up their tab.)
- New day? Start over with a new category from the hat!
Some of our categories included: - Single character: Donald, Tinkerbell, etc.
- Americana! (Red/White/Blue, American flag, etc.)
- Specific theme park or resort
- Characters dressed as Mickey
- Holidays
Eventually, we found that we started to fall in love with our pin-sets and quit wanting to trade them off ... so now I have dozens of lanyards with my favourite themes! This is so cool ... I can now grab a 'perfect lanyard' for any given visit! Last week I wore my "Winnie the Pooh & Friends" lanyard for A.A. Milne's B'day (1/18). A good number of folks will generally recognise the specific significance and comment.

I love bwvBound's game - what a great idea! Might have to try that on our family's vacation this summer! We are more collectors than traders. My girls traded when they were young, but now we all like what we have. I got two bulletin boards on clearance and have them in my home office filled with my pins! I like to collect Pluto & Eeyore pins, the DVC resorts we've stayed at, and event pins. The event pins are getting bigger and bigger. Last year's Passholder F&W with Remy was massive! I'm going to try to post a picture.... Hey, I did it! Only had to try like 15 different things, lol. It really is easy once you know how, but I hardly ever do it, so it's a new process every time. Anyway, second pic you can see how big that one pin is -- left side in middle. Massive!! But I like it.
