We had been in the habit of eating at the Wave our first night for the last few trips. We typically do MK first, then walk over to the Wave for dinner. Sad to see it go, although I did always order the steak...maybe this will be just as good.

Honesty as a non steak eater, I might not be a fan of this. Seriously not interested in another steakhouse on Disney property really. They really get lost on me. I liked the Wave and what it was before.

We have had a few meals at The Wave and have been happy with our meals. I am sure we will try this new steakhouse someday.
Looking forward to reading reviews/feedback.

Cali Grill is already a steakhouse, basically. Not sure they need another one at the same location.
Cheers.

I am just relieved it isn't another Italian restaurant!

Don't tell my daughter that! She thinks it is only for Sushi and seafood!

We dined here during our event trip on New Years Day.
The food was good. And more importantly the steaks were what I consider a reasonable price, like half what all the “classic” Steakhouses charge onsite. 3 of us had the medallions and they were cooked to perfection - so often you can’t eally tell the difference between medium and medium rare for example.
It did have more of a casual dining feel, maybe not the place for a special dinner . But for a family (of adults) wanting what has become our traditional NY dinner it was great.
Be aware I found reservations didn’t load at the 60 day mark. It was another 24 hours before they appeared.

Perhaps my favorite burger ever, certainly right up there. Always available in the lounge, and in the main restaurant at lunch.

Perhaps my favorite burger ever, certainly right up there. Always available in the lounge, and in the main restaurant at lunch. I have this booked as one of two options in March. Sad thing is my kid loved burgers and the day I booked is the day he's at MK with the band. Spouse should be thrilled though if we chose it. Just unsure we'll want to come and go with my dad. He's late 70s so walking isn't as appealing for him after a couple hip and knee replacements

We've liked the burger since the change and the colors are brighter versus The Wave. Ask for Tim to be your waiter/CM. He's awesome and been there since it was The Wave.
Also, another burger option if you're at AK is Yak and Yeti. We tried it for the first time in a while and the burger was great and the portions are huge so if you want to share, you'll have plenty. Ask for Juan. He's really good too.

Ask for Juan. He's really good too. We were in line at the Yak and Yeti quick service (where you usually get fried rice) and didn't get the burger, but it is listed as a Kobe blend and the guy said they make them to order. I already had my heart set on something else, but I tucked that knowledge away for later. Perhaps they come out of the same kitchen?

Really good and quite large. We were surprised. Yak and Yeti before seemed to have smaller portions but we tried it again after a long long time and they seem to have revamped the menu and portion sizes. The food and service were really good.

I always get the Y & Y quick serve burger when I'm at AK. However, I don't think of it as large rather just a regular size burger. Never had the burger at the sit down so maybe it's bigger there.
