Please someone tell me that a slice of cake is NOT $22.00? Nope, can't tell you that. And the croque monsieur is three time more expensive than it is at les Halles in France/Epcot. I know which one I'm getting.

Well that is what has been reported. Not comparing prices to other venues. I’m comparing a slice of cake to a slice of cake. I don’t care where it’s from, that is unbelievable, especially for Disney.

I decided to watch a youtube video review of the one in Indiana, because our travel companions have put this on the dining requests for our upcoming trip. We all agree the prices are outrageous, but they are interested in the "experience". The cake does look good, the restaurant in Indiana looks beautiful sure. But I am not sold on this at all. $8 for a soda? Tea was even more. I can handle $20 for a sandwich, that isn't too far out of whack from other Disney restaurant prices. But the additional sides, the drinks, the desserts seem really out of touch. Kids meals as well.

Please someone tell me that a slice of cake is NOT $22.00? OK. It’s not just $22. Some are $24 and $26. Feel better? LOL

Service is usually stellar but it's mixed on if it's worth it or not apparently.

It's more experience than food and this isn't really my vibe. You and me both...In my world, Olive Garden is too much "experience". All's I want is good food and don't let my glass become empty and everyone wins.

I think it is strange they posted the prices on their outdoor menu …
I admit I want to go and price will not Stop me . Only one thing to consider… guaranteed it is not going to get cheaper .

Places that leave a pitcher of water are my favorite

I think they took the menu back down! It is blank on the app, and it appears to be missing from the site too. Well, maybe they have adjusted pricing upon opening. This photo is ciruclating. I know the pricing is new, since the yogurt & granola I commented on early in this thread being $26 is shown here for $20. Still. $20. For yogurt and granola. Having such horrible PR ciruclating when you open is awful. Your opening shouldn't be a joke and that's what they made it into. Hopefully this restaurant does not last. I don't like that they approached it the way they did. The Boardwalk should be fun and entertaining. Walk around and order stuff freely like a boardwalk. Not sit down to a mockingly over-priced menu that's set because the owners think Disney fans will pay anything to eat on the Boardwalk. Attachments:

It happened yesterday. blogmickey.com/2024/10/egg-on-face-cake-bake-shop-lowers-pricing-on-numerous-menu-items-following-backlash-but-some-prices-increased/It's still not on the app or website though. Not yet at least
