You too! Anyone here interested in the Oscars? They were on last night, and I was able to catch a little at the end. I'm not usually that invested, but this year was an exception. I saw EEAAO last year and walked out thinking "that show really needs to win some Oscars" and sure enough, it won like 7 or 8 last night and I was really excited. Ke Huy Quan (Short Round from Indiana Jones) and Michelle Yeoh (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, and a bunch of other stuff) both won and it was well-deserved.
I'm also a fan of Brendan Fraser from the 90's and it's been so fun watching him come back in the "Brenaissance" -- another well-deserved Oscar for his performance in "The Whale."

We don't have TV, so didn't watch it. But CNN was updating so sort of tracked it. I actually didn't know much about EEAAO (even what it was about or who was in it). The main image just showed Michelle Yeoh as a badass. After seeing her in "Discovery," the the latest Witcher thing and "Rise of Gru" she's become our current favorite badass. The movie iw now on our Netflix list.
cheers.

Adorable granddaughters, Karl! My lots of questions, Karl. Keep trying for ‘Ohana, I’m confident it’ll appear. I’ve used the join waitlist option a couple times (not there, though). If available it’s generally pretty good at getting you seated within an hour. If not available however you are screwed. Though asking nicely never hurts. Cute kids will likely help you too, ha. Fastest way from SSR to Polynesian using Disney transportation would be bus to Magic Kingdom and then boat or monorail to Polynesian. Uber/Lyft will be faster, almost definitely, but “free” is free. Park buses will stop at both Congress Park and Springs stops. Congress Park will be quickest walk to Disney Springs. Springs section will be closest to boat to Disney Springs. Feel free to text with more questions, of course. Thanks Brian as Always very helpful and good insight (Ha ha you sound like Sharon, she says I ask a lot of questions too ) Whats your take on the Jets and Aaron Rogers ? I’m hopeful we’ll draft Qb Anthony Richardson at 4 and not have to move up to do it Thanks for the compliment on the girls, they are so Fun and Full of Surprises We’re going out for dinner tonight and they make it very entertaining Have a Good Day Everyone My pleasure as always, Karl. Hope dinner was enjoyable! Thinking your Colts very well could end up with Richardson at 4. The guys who have amazing combines usually scare me, but Richardson looks like he has the complete skillset. Here’s hoping. As for Rodgers, who knows. If he does end up with us (as he better now or we’re almost definitely screwed), hoping he commits to two years from the outset. Took Peyton two years to win it once he went to the Broncos… Regardless, with Rodgers we’ve got a chance, for the first time since Testaverde and later Sanchez. I’ll take it. You too! Watched about half and slept through about half, which I tend to do…. As usual with awards shows I primarily watch for the cleavage, but seemed to be a good presentation overall.

Not official enough for me yet, Karl, though I know all signs are pointing in that direction. Need to hear it from the horse's mouth...
Glad dinner was enjoyable. There are a few Maggiano's near me, I must visit sometime soon.

Brian it’s official, Rogers to the Jets. Just heard it. Yes I hope he gives you guys at least a 2 year contract, The New York Jets. Where good QBs go to die. I'm looking at you Vinnie and Brett. Sigh. I expect my Jets to (again) finish middle of the pack and grasp a home viewing opportunity from the jaws of a playoff berth. Again.
Cheers.

Now now, Vinny had some of his best years with us. 2 AFC Championship Games. Sanchez with 2 AFC Championship Games as well, way before the buttfumble... Ah, the memories... Of course with all four years ultimately ending in disappointment. Favre was doing decent for us before he got hurt. Like you, I expect much the same here, but there's some hope at least. Anything better than Wilson and Darnold...

Anything better than Wilson and Darnold... I still have a Pennington jersey. Talk about things that didn't work out....
But I will also start the season optimistic.
Cheers.

Welcome back Karl. Your granddaughters are lovely. Wednesday here, so I guess it's Wednesday where all of you are. With daylight savings time, it takes me about a week to be certain. Packing the car today (finishing packing, having already nearly filled it with many items from storage) to drive to Dallas Thursday and Friday. We are making a concerted effort to go ahead and offload or toss things that would otherwise still be in storage when we die, at a clip of $275 a month. We had untold numbers of kindergarten and elementary art pieces that went from the fridge to a bin. Heck, we had the doctor's comment slips from well-baby visits! I think Sandra would have taken them all to the respective households, but I asked her to make a reasonable size folder for each boy, with the "best stuff." Then she wanted me to choose. Umm...no. (Is there any "best stuff" when it comes to kindergarten art? Hope everybody has a great week. You're almost halfway, Brian.

Florida News. Traffic has increased. A lot! Not shocking I know I visited the original Gideon’s today. It was nice just walking up and buying my cookies. But, the Springs store inside is pretty cool. The morning and evening cookies are also only at Springs. Brian weather today which is good so my cookies won’t melt. Not what spring breakers want though.

My parents have been doing exactly the same, going through boxes of "artwork" and such. We shall see what I have to recover in a couple weeks. Florida News. Traffic has increased. A lot! Still have to visit the original store. Or downtown Orlando at all for that matter. Sorry, spring breakers, that's their damn problem. Do miss the views of the skimpy (or less) clothing, however...

Hope he’ll go thru with what he says and signs for 2 years Maggiano’s is very good you’ll like it and the cool thing is you can order a take home meal (entree) for only $ 6 for the next day, Nice deal Dan we’re going to just miss you guys, We leave on the 21 st to head towards the ship, At least we both get to enjoy the same place Jerry Thanks on the granddaughters, we feel so blessed and I hear ya, we still have boxes in our basement that we haven’t open since we moved here over 20 years ago, At least we’re doing some of the same things as you are, throwing away a lot of the stuff
