DH gets sick on Slinky at the end. I like it, but ride it when I have someone to ride with me. GotG DH also got sick so we haven’t gone on it again. He doesn’t like BTMRR. He won’t go on Everest anymore either. The man is showing his age!
He might ride this fall when the kids are with us. We shall see.

I am not sure. An entity like Disney needs to know their customers (oh, wait, we already know they do not based on recent decisions...) and especially demographic size differences and should work to accomodate that difference.
FOP is a great example. I am one of those "large" people both in height and girth. The girth is my issue but at 6'6" the ability to sit on the FOP seat is very limited. It puts my knees in a very cramped/bent position. I know there will be a day when my knees will not bend like that and I will no longer be able to enjoy FOP.
There was a time with Imagineering would have known and anticipated these type of things at Disney. That day is gone.

DH has issues on FoP with his knees and he's 5'9" and he is thin. Tron might be a one and done. He loves FoP though so puts up with it, but sometimes he cannot ride it. I forget now, but I think it's an old football injury or maybe it's basketball. Now, I'm showing my age!

Watched a few videos and I'm excited to ride it - that is if Disney hurries up with the AP/DVC preview calendar. :-) A few vloggers had alot of issues with the lockers not opening so if you can skip not having to use a locker would be ideal. There is a compartment on the ride that can store your cell phone & few other items so that may help some avoid the lockers.

On a recent ride of Slinky I dropped my ballcap on the floor by my feet as we were loading. I was struggling to reach it and the worker said don't worry, it won't go anywhere. My inner engineer knew this to be true so I left it. It moved not one inch...so you won't fall out.
Unlike Big Thunder where if I am next to someone who is bigger and the lap bar is several inches above my lap...wellllll hang on, you do leave your seat on that one. I love the added excitement
When wife and I go on rides, I let her board first, as one does. When it comes to Slinky, though, we found out that right after you launch, the train curves left while tilting quite a bit and the person on the left has a wonderful view of the ground and feels like they are going to fall out. This terrified wife, so I board first on Slinky and I make sure to look straight down at the ground during that curve for maximum stomach effect.

The magicband to open the lockers gives me Disney nightmares.

So I finally rode EE for the first time in '20 and again '22 - both times I 'missed' the open air area. I just can't 'see' it when I'm on the ride. We rode GotG in December and it was cool but after I was walking away I started feeling 'spacy'. I read a review on Facebook about Tron and they are saying it's the same type of seating as FoP. The rider is clamped into the ride. The first time they rode it they felt very secure. The second time they rode it they didn't feel as 'clamped' in and felt less secure. However they had no vertigo like GotG or FoP.

However they had no vertigo like GotG or FoP. Presumably that is because Tron is a real, classic, train-based coaster, not a simulator or spinny thing that exploits your inner ear. Watched video last night of Tron ridethroughs. Wife and I both felt let down, I mean we haven't ridden it yet but it looks all smooth and boring. I personally feel like after spending my youth going to the big coaster parks, when someone says "Coming soon, the most amazing coaster experience you will ever see" it usually means something with huge drops and turns and all kinds of fun stuff. This looks more like a slightly longer kid-coaster. Heavy reliance on flashing lights etc inside. I feel like someone is trying to use neon lights and a non-standard seating arrangement to convince me that I'm riding something amazing. I was surprised how much it reminded me of Aerosmith. Speaking of Aerosmith, yeah it goes upside down but every time I ride it, I'm like "The '70s called and they want their single corkscrew loop back" For coaster fun at Disney, I say Big Thunder gets a lot of laughs, I like Space Mtn but wife won't because it's in the dark, and you know what mostly-overlooked coaster is actually tons of fun? Goofy's Barnstormer - classic "Mad Mouse" coaster toned down slightly. Speaking of "Mad Mouse", Space Mtn is technically one. Also, in California Adventure, "Goofy's Flight School" is a true, old-school mad mouse. It is very nearly one-half of "Primeval Whirl" but without the rotating cars. It's been quite a few years but watching a video just now, wow that looks fun.

Yup....tall and large people will have an issue with getting on the ride vehicle. Not sure why people are surprised, there has been a "cycle" out by Space Mountain for people to try going back 4 or 5 years? Tried that when it was first out there. Wasn't even close to locking my legs. To tall for most rides. FOP is one of my favorites and I am always in pain when done. Splash was another no leg room ride. Hopefully when they make new ride log or whatever for Tiana they will have more leg room.

I am a big guy, 6'-7'' and so I don't think this is the ride for me. Also I am not a coaster fan, although I have ridden all of them at Walt Disney World in years past.

It is nice to hear Tron is smooth. How rocky Space Mountain has become is why we no longer ride.
