Il Mulino is sooo good. I’m glad you enjoyed it. We found it a few years ago when we were staying somewhere in the EP area and didn’t know what we wanted for dinner. My favorite food is Italian, so that’s how we ended up there. Delicious! Oh, and your family not liking Italian food makes no sense to me. 🤪
We always try to get the lounge at Space 220 because you can either order off the lounge menu or the regular menu. My kids usually get food from the kids regular menu, and I always order from the lounge menu. It’s delicious.
We tried Yachtsman for the first time this trip. I don’t know if it was just a good night, but we FINALLY found somewhere that serves Prime steak and knows how to cook it correctly, medium rare! I recommend it or fellow steak lovers. Not cheap, but it was delicious!

How did you like Wine Bar George? Pics are great! Smoked wings…yuuummm. We have been a few times and really like it. We get the wine on tap, cheaper. The charcuterie is so good but the full one was like $60 so we asked to cut it in half and they did. The selections they gave were delicious. We walk up and sit at bar. We like a wine called Broadside, drinking it now, and I think that's what they have on tap. Smoked wings at City Works are so yummy. But the sauces are amazing too. So we asked if they sell them and found out that they do so we bought them. So very good. Took them to next door neighbor's last night who smoked a brisket. Yummo.

Good to know City Works sells the sauces - we have had dinner here a few times (and enjoyed it). Thank you. (Tried to just quote your reply again and now I see the emoji faces for this reply).

I am surprised you put Crystal Palace on your list. Isn’t that buffet?
Prime Time Cafe is a big “X” for us……

I am surprised you put Crystal Palace on your list. Isn’t that buffet? Prime Time Cafe is a big “X” for us…… Yeah, for some reason the DH really wants to try Crystal Palace. Buffets are not my things these days. He likes to be able to get food that works for diet and in massive quantities. I just get the sceevies since covid. So I am not rushing to make a CP resie. We went to 50s Prime Time once. It wasn't bad. Would go again though not really good for low carb eating, LOL. So prob won't return in near future. My DS-26 and his friend are coming up from Miami (where they live) tomorrow night. He has only been to Disney once since he was 18 (2021 with cousins). And his friend has never been. So he had some opinions on where he wanted to go. Coral Reef, Sci-Fi and Yak and Yeti. I had booked a late La Hacienda to watch fireworks but he asked me to change to Coral Reef...blech. Then he mentioned Y&Y for lunch on AK day. Great, as I love that one. But Sci-Fi. Ugh, I got them 2 day FL resident ticket deal (weekdays only) with no hopper and he wanted AK and Epcot as park resies. SO now I may add hoppers. But I can't get a dinner at Sci-Fi anyway. Then for Sat night (no parks) I found a Sanaa resie. It's the closest to our house too (12 mins ish). It is his friends birthday. Trying, today, for a Rodeo resie but they halted the resies due to glitch. We have the Hoop Dee Doo with our neighbors next month as well as a Via Napoli with them which we might forego that one because of low carb diet plus our friends from Celebration will be in town and we are hanging at Epcot (got a BWV room) the night before for Berlin show. Off site stuff...we are also trying everything we can. We hit Celebration, Sunset Walk area of Four Corners and a little of Winter Garden and a little of the Reunion/Champions Gate area of Davenport. Also do the Bonnet Creek hotel area. The DH prefers easier driving. Not using rout 4 or 192 as much as possible. We have ways out to Sunset walk area stuff on 192 as we are close to there. Also can get up to Winter Garden easy on expressway and going down to Reunion area is tough certain times so we only really do that on weekends. Going TO Celebration is easy on 192 (or TO Disney and there are a few ways). But coming home has to be timed right. I left Beach Club at 4pm yesterday and it was BIG mistake so I went to Celebration instead and had dinner. But still at 5:30 ish it was bad coming down 192. BUt by 7pm it's usually not as bad. We just know the timing and make plans according. If we are laziest we go to the golf club restaurant attached to our neighborhood (can even walk there). We go once a week there. Great happy hour. Which is another thing the DH looks for. Cheap beer and wine. I can do a whole post on happy hours. That will be next..... This was in November with our Celebration friends at STK for a brunchy like meal. We got bottomless mimosas and bloodies (you have to pick one type). And they have a great kobe burger with fries deal (Like $9 or something). This was before dieting began. Actually I knew diet was coming so Thanksgiving through New Year's I ate all the crap I wanted, LOL.

The mushroom bisque appetizer is so good, and they will bring more lol! We also ate at Space 220 last month and really liked it. Was also surprised about how accommodating they were at substituting items because my DH and DS are pretty picky and just like meat and potatoes and they did a nice job of offering other options for them.

We had dinner at Wolfgang Puck around 2005-2006 and really enjoyed it. We had lunch there around 2015 and the menu had been gutted. My thought at that time was "another victim of the dining plan."
I'd try it again, but there are other Springs restaurants that we really like (Jaleo and Morimoto) and I can't see going to WP in place of those.

I really like Space 220 for the atmosphere. My wife doesn't care for it that much though.
My biggest frustration is just due to safety regulations, but seeing the glowing exit signs reflected in the space windows is a huge bummer. Eventually I move past it but it annoys me. Potentially going back there in April as the availability for dining has gotten much better recently. Not sure how or why but I have pulled Topolino and Space 220 for easter week at 60+4 when in the past I couldn't get either at +6 even.
From your list I'd suggest Tusker House as something to target, due to the menu. Characters are great there too but I think Crystal Palace wins on character mix. The lunch food at TH is awesome.

For those wondering D3 = Disney Day Drinkers/Drinking. Yes, it's a thing... And yes, day often turns into night... Thanks, I had no idea what that was!

We were there last month, the menu changed, it was so much more more expensive and not as good. I'll be taking a break for a while.

Local Happy Hours (running list as we discover them) 1) Island Wing Company in Sunset Walk plaza. All food is baked. And you can have a doggo on the patio. 2) Game Time which is also in Sunset Walk. 3) Mulligan's in Celebration in Publix plaza off 192. Dive Pub but great cheap drinking. And wings are good and cheap (comparatively). DH LOVES it because it's EVERY day of the week. 4) Red Robin on 192. Shocked to discover a happy hour. Not bad either. Just can't be lulled into getting those bottomless fries. 5) Kenzie's is a golf club restaurant at Mystic Dunes. Food is okay. Hit or miss. We can walk or bike there easily. We usually drive though. And have a code to side gate right by the golf club house. Our neighborhood is on their golf coarse. We sit at bar and talk to the bartender and many neighbors. Meet new ones every time we go which is 1-2 times a week. Think this pic is old but pretty much the same. I will take new one next time and update. 6) Rock and Brews (not my fave but DH seems to like it, especially when kiddos are visiting) in Sunset Walk 7) Chuy's which we just newly discovered. Across from Sunset Walk on 192. You get chips and salsa and crema too. We just sat at bar and didn't get food. Great deal to get chips and happy hour drinks. We did order a kid quesadilla to take home, for doggo (don't ask), which came with fries and fresh bag of chips with the dips. Talked to bartender there too. She was very friendly. Chips and dips (home made salsa and the crema) are really good but not on our diet. Luckily the DS and his friend arrived for visit a few days after so they got them. 8) Miller's Ale House. There are many and we got to multiple. Whatever one is convenient at the time. They are easy to get seat. not sure they have happy hour per say or just drink deals all day (will check next time and post a pic if they do) One thing with Sunset Walk is they add an auto 20% service charge (tip). Have to watch carefully so as not to double tip.
