They are contracted through mid this year. Aloe and mouthwash are common in higher end deluxe rooms. |

I swear I didn't book a Resort Studio, because I knew I wouldn't like it, but here we are. I asked the CM at check-in if that's what I booked and he said they don't usually change categories
Did you check your DVC reservation page? Maybe they did move you - maybe an error on their part? Although I must admit, I had a continuing reservation at VGF couple years ago. booked on in a standard two bed - the other in standard two bed lockoff (ugh) what kills me the most is I was thinking about adding another night and the standard was available - until the day I had to move. Never realized I booked the lockoff for nights 3-5:( - Yup My error

I kinda strong armed DH by booking GFV studio for our pre-cruise night. If it's bad then it will just reinforce his view of the GF when we stayed as guests in the resort hotel. Did you book a resort studio or the deluxe? Totally two different units. If it’s deluxe, you will be fine. If Resort, I don’t think your DH gonna like it. I assume that's why they have it. |

I have also stayed at the resort villas and yes they were nice but I will only book at the original building. My biggest gripe is the frig and lack of walk in shower. My room was quiet but it had no balcony. I should note I own at Grand Floridian and Riviera and do like the Riviera better because of the skyline and I like its in one building !

I thought that the H2O was no longer available as of Dec 2022--guess I was wrong on that. They announced fulfilling contracts through mid 2023. I assume we'll see a change late summer or fall. |

We are at a VGF PReferred View right now. IT is one of our home resorts but i had not been here since the refrub..
1. I like the decor and the murphy bed is a nice add albiet really hard mattress
2. I like that they got rid of the TV in mirror in the bathrooms.
3. The tiles in bathroom attract yuck in the grout. The Bathroom floor grout already looks awful.
4. Wondering how the carpet in the room will hold up. Beautiful but light colored.
5. No storage. I like the 5th bed pulldown for kids but not sure I like losing the storage for clothes. It is obvious they believe studio stays are short.
6. Some Standard Views can see fireworks over the building.
7. Still the best pool bar I know of at any resort here.
8. Enchanted Rose is WAAAAAYYY over priced and drinks are average at best.
9. Gasparilla Grill may be underrated and in front of it is a GREAT place to watch fireworks.
10. Even the main Studios now only have a beverage cooler. Very small. No room for leftovers from dinner
11. We did have plenty of paper plates and silverware but loved having the real stuff in our studio at Riveria before arriving here
12. Housekeeping actually changed bedding on Towel replacement day..but took our daughters Aulani Shellie May in the sheets. We have put in a lost and found request but Daughter is devastated.

Wait, they got rid of the TV in the mirror in the DVC original building or are you talking about the resort hotel building? Sorry- we never used the tv in the mirror but thought it was a really cool, upscale feature - hate to see it go
