Wait, they got rid of the TV in the mirror in the DVC original building or are you talking about the resort hotel building? Sorry- we never used the tv in the mirror but thought it was a really cool, upscale feature - hate to see it go TVs removed from the mirror in the VGF building rooms. |

I wonder why they are removing them, I thought it was a really neat feature. We had issues getting them to work properly all the time. Many reports of broken screens as well. I imagine the novelty of them wasn't worth the upkeep? I think we used them once or twice and mostly they were not in great spots. |

Had same issue when I first saw them at some Vegas resort. They'd be better off installing a real tv with a corner ceiling mount or something. If I had such skills would likely already be a feature of my "man house"... |

After owning DVC for 23 years, I have truly become a room snob, and not afraid to admit it.
I've only owned for 7, and I'm on board. I haven't stayed in any studio for around 4 years now, and never plan to. 1-bedrooms or bust, baby! |

Which is ok with us because we could never get the damn things to work right anyway. |

Even the main studios have a beverage cooler, did you say? Yep, it was pretty small. No tiny freezer up top. The "space" for the former mini fridge is not even close to being fully used with the new ones. |

But I am also a recovering accountant and the point savings of the Studios get me for stays under 10 days. Over that we will splurge to have the in room laundry. We did use the laundry on the 4th floor this past stay which is free but only 2 of the 4 dryers were servicable. |

The "space" for the former mini fridge is not even close to being fully used with the new ones. None of the mini fridges have freezers and slowly were replaced with fridge only starting with PVB. Coolers have the glass door and do not cool to safe temps. We saw mini fridge in a room in June. I'd as for a fridge since coolers do not keep milk or meat safe. |

I fully intend to make my spouse do all the work  He's not here long enough for the band trip to even suggest. He's in on Friday and out on Sunday morning. I'll move over to PVB that morning and agree to hold bags for a Tron run  |

We are at a VGF PReferred View right now. IT is one of our home resorts but i had not been here since the refrub.. 1. I like the decor and the murphy bed is a nice add albiet really hard mattress 2. I like that they got rid of the TV in mirror in the bathrooms. 3. The tiles in bathroom attract yuck in the grout. The Bathroom floor grout already looks awful. 4. Wondering how the carpet in the room will hold up. Beautiful but light colored. 5. No storage. I like the 5th bed pulldown for kids but not sure I like losing the storage for clothes. It is obvious they believe studio stays are short. 6. Some Standard Views can see fireworks over the building. 7. Still the best pool bar I know of at any resort here. 8. Enchanted Rose is WAAAAAYYY over priced and drinks are average at best. 9. Gasparilla Grill may be underrated and in front of it is a GREAT place to watch fireworks. 10. Even the main Studios now only have a beverage cooler. Very small. No room for leftovers from dinner 11. We did have plenty of paper plates and silverware but loved having the real stuff in our studio at Riveria before arriving here 12. Housekeeping actually changed bedding on Towel replacement day..but took our daughters Aulani Shellie May in the sheets. We have put in a lost and found request but Daughter is devastated.Did your daughter get Shellie May back? |
