for an additional 20 years to 2062 Would you be willing to pay $150 per point to do so?

for an additional 20 years to 2062 Would you be willing to pay $150 per point to do so? I don’t own at either of those, so I can’t answer. We do own at BRV, which is also a 2042 resort. I’ve always said that if an extension was offered, I would be interested. I don’t think I would be “in” at that price, though.

If I felt we could enjoy them for 20 more years I might be interested. The location alone would be worth consideration so that will be up to our kids to do that.
Coming back to say no way no how to the price of $150pp.

The old key west extension was offered at $15 per point. Then I’d be interested.

We'll be 82 in 2042. We have no kids. We'll be happy to let these expire.
Now, if the price was more like $15 then I'd look at the resale market for total price to see if it made sense to extend and sell.
Cheers.

350 (# of points) x $150= no way. that would be over double what we paid in 2011. $15 pp, maybe, but we'd have to see what kids are into, if we've relocated to FL, and/or have any grandkids. Otherwise, we're not sure we even want to keep these until 2042.

Otherwise, I could just buy resale at CCV and still be at the lodge. For BCV/BWV it’s about location. And I get that. Still wouldn’t pay 150 for 20 years, though

Not any of my resorts for that price. When OKW extended we decided to buy a new resort and got 50 years! yeah bigger investment but it was not $150 pp back then.

Not at that price, and not for all of my contracts. If the point charts didn't change and it was $25 or under I would consider it for our 100 pointer (as we will be in our late 70s then).

Not at that price. Also, I don't love the rooms at BWV. Would like to see them gutted and rebuilt. But I do LOVE the location.

Probably not. I'll be 87 in 2042. Might need to consult the kids if they wanted to do it but that price seems awfully high.

Hmmmm. Interesting question. We may be too old to get much use out of an extension. But if reasonable, we might be interested in order to pass down. Nothing like being able to walk to two parks. And, having grown up on the Jersey shore, there is some nostalgia in owning the Boardwalk…for whatever that’s worth.
