We have BW Inn booked for two nights in late April. Garden view. I'm tempted to "test" the TP room request fax, but I'm also thinking about emailing WDW via whatever "contact us" link I can find in MDE. Twice in the past (both times using TP) we got great rooms at BWI, 4th-5th floor facing Village Green; another time (also used TP) they put us on the ground floor next to the steps that lead to the Inn quiet pool.

Thank you so, so much!!! Our first DVC stay in 2011 was SSR, but it's a blur. DH had food poisoning that last night, and before that, it was go-go-go at parks. I'm looking forward to a more laid back trip, resort exploring, etc. and letting DD go back/forth easily to Disney Springs if she wants. If we end up w the same dates, hope to get to say 'hi.'

We have a BWV standard in later July and I'm making that room request via DVC MS, because it really feels like DVC is done with TP faxes. For our last three BWV BW view rooms, the best result was via a MS request (high floor, close to Jellyrolls) room 4005; that exact request using TP and they put us on the 2nd floor above the Screen Door entrance. Twice. Same HA room (2047). |

Our BW Inn room request was nullified due to the ongoing renovations. The section of rooms that overlooks the village green is undergoing renovation.
We got room 1330. It faces the Inn quiet pool. Newly renovated. It's a great location if you want quiet and isolation, which was fine with us. The proximity to the pool was really convenient. The downside was the distance to the lobby and bus stop, and the only way to get to the area was via the main building.

Our last trip I tried TP for the first time and it was a disaster. Never again! I called MS for our upcoming stay and hopefully that’ll work.

If I'm down there I request a 1st or 2nd floor as it makes getting to the room from other locations so much easier. For 1-3 floors we tend to use the stairs though so if one can I think that area is ideal. I love being by the quiet pool. Hated being by the (former) clown pool. Our last trip I tried TP for the first time and it was a disaster. Never again! I called MS for our upcoming stay and hopefully that’ll work. Fingers crossed for you. I have our request in with MS for upper floor. I'm usually not too picky so my requests have been more vague. Though my 3rd floor Moorea was fulfilled and I was so happy! |
