I rode this on our last trip and it was very smooth. No issues at all.
Cheers.

We are going to WDW next week. Those of you that have been on Tron, is it hard on the knees? I have knee issues (osteoarthritis) and don't want to try the ride if it is going to further aggravate my knees. Especially since MK will be the first park we visit. I also have knee issues but my problems were vision (so dark) and getting my leg high enough to swing over the cycle. I noticed no knee involvement at all. Ok. Thank you. The YouTube videos made it look like you were kneeling throughout the ride. That would not be fun for me especially if there are a lot of turns that would jostle me. I would be in pain for the rest of the trip. My DD thinks I should opt for the cart ride instead to be safe though.

I went in the single rider line for Test Track. I was seated at the end of the three seater car with a very large man in the middle. Needless to say, my hip kept getting knocked into the side of the car through out the ride. The rest of our trip I was in awful hip pain. My husband says I can never ride that attraction again! LOL 😂 It’s hell gettin old. As a lady once told me "The Golden years are not always so Golden" another way of looking at it is: the golden years take more "gold" to keep going (Dr visits, meds, physical therapy, etc.)

The kneeling is the leg shape to accommodate the locking bar, which was perfectly fine - could feel it but it wasn't tight. I actually checked to insure the lock was in place and feel for the back support. After all, I didn't want to fly . Basically you're riding a 'crotch rocket' type cycle so your body needs to be in that shape. The ride is so fast that just when I was thinking, "Ok, I'm ready to get out of this position." the ride ends.

The biggest issue for me while riding Tron was a not-insignificant concern for my giblets, if you get my drift. Luckily, with most of my weight on my knees/shins, I was ok in the end, but I was certainly worried that the position and all the coaster jostling would end up resulting in some groin-based pain by the end of the ride...

We are back from our June trip and I did ride Tron. We were a party of 4 and were able to get a boarding group for the virtual queue at 7am. I believe it was boarding group 82 or so. Waited all day for the group to be called. Finally around 3pm it was our turn. Two members of the group, my DD and one of the GDs backed out once they saw the outside part of the ride up close. My other GD and I decided to ride the cart since I was unsure of whether I could assume the kneeling position or not. Needless to say, the ride was sooooo short we barely had to time to even think about it. When it stopped, my GD said it's over already and I said, no way, it's probably going to start again. NOT. We were both very disappointed. I am very glad I did not pay for LL on this one.

I’ve just come back from WDW with a broken rib from the Tron ride! I emailed Disney, and all I got was a “sorry”, we’ll pass on your feedback.

How is Tron VQ handled during MNSSHP? Still a VQ, or turns into walk up?
