I rode Tron two times in one day (for the first and second time) last week. On the second ride I felt a 'pop' and sharp pain in my ribs that quickly subsided. However, a few days later I am feeling pain on the front and back part of my ribcage, and seeing small bruises on the front. Is anyone else having this same experience?

If that happened to me I'd go to my chiropractor. Ribs are generally left to heal on their own but you probably just kinked something rather than broke anything.

I've not been on it yet, but I did read on Facebook that someone broke their ribs on the ride 😳

My wife has read various posts about people hurting their ribs on Tron, which is why I asked. I wouldn't really describe it as "pain" because it's more of a dull ache that I feel when I take a deep breath or lift my shoulder. No biggie, and I'm sure it will be fine in a week or two. I was just wondering if anyone else here had the same experience.

We rode it a few times this week and didn't experience anything like that. I didn't feel my ribs were jerked around or compressed. I had room to move around, could mostly sit (lean) up to put hands up in the air, or lean forward to hold the handles like a motorcycle. Get well soon!

Do you think its better to give yourself extra room on tron? Due to my issues the CM made sure I had plenty of room. I didn't even feel the back restraint. No pain for me and I'm highly prone to pain.

I went in the single rider line for Test Track. I was seated at the end of the three seater car with a very large man in the middle. Needless to say, my hip kept getting knocked into the side of the car through out the ride. The rest of our trip I was in awful hip pain. My husband says I can never ride that attraction again! LOL 😂 It’s hell gettin old.

Since we're on the subject, I'm going to search for a "Tron feedback" thread and contribute to it.

The trip before I had a serious Achilles tendon issue going on. Had to take frequent rests at the bar… , the hubby nicely said “ Hun, we need to take a break from Disney”. So, we are cruising right now. Not that far from the pool to the bar!

donalddork it's been a month or so, now. How are you feeling? I went on Tron a few weeks ago and was fine. Yes, it was an awkward position to be in for a few minutes, but ultimately had no problems or issues with it. I thought it was a pretty smooth coaster compared to rides like Space Mountain, Test Track, or BTMRR.

Something to consider but knowing me, I still need to try it.
