Because I've had a totally frustrating day so far, I want to do something fun. And I'd love to get ideas for my next trip (not happening soon enough). Let's each list our favorite: 1. Signature restaurant 2. Table service restaurant 3. Quick service restaurant 4. Snack location 5. Bar or lounge
Tell us what makes this place your favorite, your favorite menu item, etc... And feel free to post food pictures! This can also include locations that are no longer open. I'm not a "foodie," so my choices will be rather vanilla. Who wants to start?

#1 none, DH is too cheap #2 SH71 seems to be our favorite for lunch. Ale and Compass for breakfast. Love the blue cheese wedge and French onion soup. A&C blueberry pancakes are delicious! #3 DH still likes Sunshine Seasons, Chicken sandwich at the French Bakery, BBQ in America at Epcot…can’t think of the name. Canteen in Pandora. #4 Dole Whip, Zebra Domes, gingerbread cookie from Germany or a caramel square. Sorbet in France, chips in England, apple fritter at Joffrey’s stands, sorbet from Gelato II at Springs. #5 really have never done a lounge
I’m hungry..might make a food run!

Pour house had amazing filet sliders on pretzel buns, but they took them off the menu.

Hmmm.... love this thread.
#1 - none as I despise getting dressed up. I spent 35 years wearing a tie so no more for me! #2 - Le Cellier, Boathouse, Yak and Yeti, and Olivia's to name a few. Really wanna try SH71. #3 - Casey's even though it's just hot dogs and fries #4 - Churros anywhere they sell them although the ones in DS are better than in the parks #5 - N/A we don't drink
Looking forward to making ADRs in 37 days!

Okay I'll try this
Signature - none, we aren't fancy enough (Olive Garden makes me uncomfortable, lol) TS - Trail's End! Second place goes to Liberty Tree. Sanaa sometimes! QS - Cosmic Ray's, close tie with the new Electric Umbrella. Also Backlot Express. Wait I forgot Blaze Pizza and Earl of Sandwich! Snack - Cheeseburger eggrolls at Adventureland Eggroll Cart. Pretzel cart between The Land and Imagination Lounge - Gurgling Suitcase although I hate the way there are like four chairs. Second place - my room at OKW

After conferring with hubby, here are ours (don’t judge) 1. Signature- haven’t gotten around to that. Probably won’t, not really our thing. 2. Table service- San Angel Inn, Whispering Canyon or Grand Floridian Cafe for Breakfast. 3. Quick service- Flame Tree Barbecue, Yorkshire Fish and Chips, Cosmic Rays 4. Snack- Anandapur Ice Cream truck, Sunshine Terrace, Ghirardelli Soda Fountain, any place with Mickey bars or popcorn 5. Bar- not really our thing either We like Boma and 1900 Park Fare for breakfast buffets, and Biergarten for dinner buffet. Very basic, rather vanilla food. And we always say that we are going to try new places, but we almost always end up going with “the usuals.”

I could write a book…. But I have some unique tastes, ha.
Amazed at the lack of signature visitors. It’s my favorite. Of course makes a huge difference that it’s only me and perhaps a lady that I’d be paying for. And hell no on the tie unless it’s Victoria and Albert’s.
1, Signature: California Grill, timed for fireworks of course. Definitely miss their brunch option, however. When I could choose my own selections, cheese plate and a seasonal flatbread were my usual selections. Which costs the same or more than most entrees so can’t blame me for the prix fixe crap.
2. Table Service: Grand Floridian Cafe, Ale & Compass, Via Napoli, Chefs de France, Boma, Akershus. Really just depends what I’m in the mood for (typically a burger or white pizza). Also depends where I’m located and need for immediate air conditioning.
3. Quick Service: Not for me. Not usually my preference, but certainly serve the purpose when the hunger erupts. Hate juggling a tray, though. And then can’t use the facilities because they think I’m leaving the premises and start to clean up.
4. Snack: We’ll go with the Epcot festival booths here. Often can serve as a Saturday evening dinner for me.
5. Lounge: Any. Particularly when they serve food as well. I can sit there and people watch for hours, Favorite I’ll go with Steakhouse 71 to get me that burger.

Early days yet, Brian. The signature fans will start sharing their favorites. Patience, grasshopper! 😁 I like to start threads that everyone can relate to, so that more people feel comfortable responding. Can’t go wrong with a food thread!

1. Signature restaurant - I think Yachtsman is the only signature I've ever eaten at. It was delicious. I would like to try California Grill sometime. 2. Table service restaurant - Grand Floridian Cafe (breakfast), Skipper's Canteen for lunch or dinner. 3. Quick service restaurant - This is kind of a cheat because I don't consider it QS, but Geyser Point. Close 2nd is Satu'li Canteen. 4. Snack location - Adventureland Spring Roll Cart 5. Bar or lounge - Since we're usually only with our kids we don't hit up many lounges. I guess Tambu Lounge for a Lapu Lapu. I would like to go to Enchanted Rose sometime.
