The walk of shame part cracked me up. We've all been there. Excellent Adult kids? They have never asked for my own's ID but he's still underage. They haven't even always checked spouse's license thoroughly but we might seem unassuming with 2 obvious parents and a kid. I remember times when they'd ask to see your AP card. I haven't seen them lately but I also haven't seen people jump to the AP lines from others lately. Curious if they'll bring back verification ever. Fortunately AP lines even over spring break were much much shorter. Kid said he beat friends by 10 minutes My kid over spring break had a 3 day ticket and his AP. Though the AP had been active prior. It pulled his AP not the ticket (band trip). Ticket was able to be transferred and expiration extended so a friend could use it for June at least. So I'd have it checked before use by GS to make sure the right one is pulled. Ugh! I was afraid of that. Nothing can be easy I guess. Yeah sorry. Like I said though his AP was activated. Both tickets were on his account. Both tickets had park reservations on them and the park tickets were added last. Unsure how to fix it in MDE. In the end it helped our friend get 3 days she could upgrade to 8. Unfortunately this ticket was not allowed to be upgraded to an AP since it was a package deal for students. Really they were just nice and extended the date when they didn't have to so no complaints here.

So now I am wondering since I have a one day park hopper ticket and now the annual pass in my MDE account which ticket media will be recorded at park entry when I visit in June. I want to use the park hopper and not activate the AP until a later trip. How does that work when you have multiple ticket media linked? There seems to be a way to prioritize multiple tickets on MDE. I found this out while making park reservations, with daily tickets they limit you to 4 or 5 days, when I couldn’t go any further I realized it was using the wrong ticket. Fixed it and was able to make all my reservations. When in doubt stop into GS to have them prioritize your tickets. On our APs when we are booking a non resort park reservation (not sure about resort mostly because I can't remember with all the upgrades to MDE, etc) I have to select the correct pass when I make them. The current one or the one that is renewed recently. You'd think they could do it for tickets and APs.

I hadn't thought about the AP card until someone mentioned it - will we get the AP discount on merch without a card? Or will we have to stop at GS to get that? Nothing has shown up in the mail, but it hasn't quite been 2 weeks yet.
I just checked magic mobile, and it shows ANNUAL so that would probably work.

To make a park reservation, you have to select a specific ticket to determine if that ticket has eligibility (daily ticket's specific date or AP's non-blackout dates). The ticket you use to make the park reservation is the ticket that will be used at park entrance.
Prior to park reservations, prioritization was the key.

So I think there is some sort of priority they can do.

Back when the Digital ID first launched, there were a number of posts on the DISboards where members that never had APs or theirs had been expired for quite some time still had the ANNUAL affiliation. Not sure if it ever dropped off for any of them. As far as scanning the QR Code, I've only seen posts where that was done at DLR. At WDW, it's a visual verification at this point.

If it is consistently showing in wallets erroneously, we might have to show that screen for verification. Which will annoy me given how lousy MDE has been the last month for me.
