I purchased a Sorcerer AP on 4/13; I'm going to WDW on Thursday morning. Unless someone beats me to it, we'll know on Thursday. I checked the emails I got from Disney after I made the purchase; there's no mention of activating the AP. And the AP shows in Tickets and Passes in MDE. It says, "Disney Vacation Club Member Disney Sorcerer Pass." Update--I did not need to activate my AP. We arrived at Epcot early on Thursday; I asked one of the supervisor-looking CM's at the turnstile (well before they started letting people in), she scanned my MB and confirmed that it was active, not a certificate. |

I’ll let you know soon…… I’m going to GS to get a physical card. I’d know Kona food anywhere. I thought they took the "Big Kahuna" off the breakfast menu! Did you just ask for it? I had it 4 out of 5 days. It’s definitely there!😃 Regarding the “active or not” conversation…. My sweetie, her sister and husband all were able to go right in without a trip to GS. I get the blue ring every time. |

I was actually at Animal Kingdom last month and saw the sign of AP being sold - I got so excited and when I went over to inquire about it, I wad told it was only for the Florida residents. I was so disappointed and felt teased. But now I am so happy it is back.

I just went to look at renewing our DVC Sorcerer Passes on the app, and was met with: "The Disney Vacation Club Member Sorcerer Pass Renewal is no longer being sold. Select a new pass to continue." Only the $1189 + tax Incredi-Pass is offered. There's a lot of discussion here and this may already have been mentioned. Is this for real, or is this something where it must be resolved by calling, or being in person?
Edit: Just looked online and found a thread on a board that is getting soundly (and seems rightfully  ) bashed on another thread that indicated that this is a call-only.

Cheers. Yup, You have to call Member Services to renew your sorcerer pass. Once they confirm you are a blue card member, they transfer you to someone else to compete the purchase. |

Yes, that is correct - you need to call - I myself panicked as well. I guess they are hoping you bite on the message and buy it instead.

Also, I think I had read that there is no longer a discount for DVC Sorcerer renewal. If this is the case, is there a reason to renew versus waiting until the next trip to buy a new one (other than the risk that sales of new APs stop again)?
