Hello all!
Need a little inspiration today-
Currently trying to clean out the basement family room so I can have a make shift yoga/physical therapy area…We moved exactly one year ago this month and all the boxes we never got to are piled up in there…
I am a little freaked out by all the cardboard and I am starting to feel like a hoarder….
Who has got some motivation for me!

Who has got some motivation for me! I totally get it. We sold our second home in Michigan so had to combine two houses into one. The 1800 sq ft house’s furniture, kitchen, bedroom, etc. stuff filled up our two car garage to the ceiling. VERY overwhelming. Hubby and I made a pack….do something with one item a day. That’s it. Took away the stress as when I put away a sheet set, I said to myself I’m done, that’s my one thing. Then anything else I put away that day was above and beyond so I knew I could quit ant time. It may have taken longer but garage is back to normal.

Well I am not the one to talk to...we moved into this house in 2007, I told my wife the other day that there are still boxes we haven't touched. She seemed incredulous, I assured her that there were, in fact, boxes in a few places that we have never unpacked.
Now we are in the process of "entire first floor is getting the hardwoods redone" which basically means...well...we basically have to move out. So things are getting packed up, I figure I have about three months or maybe two until this happens.
So that means, someday there will be boxes from 2022 and 2023 that never got unpacked

Ugh - moving is work. We have all our stuff from the last house in storage while living in RV. Because we moved a lot for work, there are boxes that have not been opened in a dozen moves. I feel for anyone going through packing, unboxing and/or any part of moving.

Ok jeesh I am totally messing up the reply button- @helenabear completely jealous WDWGoof I need to take a lesson from you and tackle it one thing at a time… Adelard of Bath of Bath - yeah my family gets “incredulous” about it also - good word for it by the way…bonus points for throwing in SAT level vocabulary, when I think about the boxes my wording tends to get a bit more guttural

@helenabear completely jealous Don't be too jealous. My girl is getting in my way as I am trying to do minor tweaks here. Forgive is colors go nuts because she literally nosed her way in LOL - exactly! She turns 13 this coming summer & I fully expect she will be taller than me by her birthday. They grow up far too fast. Wow! Mine is 15 now. He outgrew me at like 11 though. We have a Disney trip in March for the marching band. Crazy to think he's doing what I did when I was in HS.

I have unopened boxes from my last move in 2010. Guess I didn’t need that stuff lol.
