To book KTTK. Is it booked on 60 days exactly or if a resort guest can book 60+ ? 60+ I had a VIP tour and a fireworks cruise both booked at 60+ just a few weeks ago. Thanks for the info.  |

And booking opens at midnight ET.
Also it doesn’t run over busy times. I was gutted to find it stopped completely over Christmas and New Year. DS and I did it a few years ago but DH and youngest never had. It’ll need to wait now until next trip at a different time.

Iv head the first one is great to see mainstreet empty. but the next two means you get to see the preparations for the parades.

Any recommendations I don’t think you’ll have Main Street empty anymore, even for that first tour. Since everyone is allowed in an hour before official park opening, you might manage to get a few photos before being trampled by the hordes of guests as you head for the tour check-in desk. Equally though I did the first tour and we saw a dance rehearsal for the parade as well as float maintenance / testing etc. We spent the first 10-15 minutes sitting on one of the alleys off Main Street watching people “rope drop”. That was an eye opener and not pretty. Young children being dragged along by parents in an effort to get ahead of others, people elbowing and barging and so on. |

Late to the party since you seem to have decided but...good decision! We did this a while back and enjoyed it. We wanted to wait until our niece, maybe 10 or 11 at the time was old enough. When she was close we talked about it and she said that she simply didn't want to go. She simply didn't want to see the backstage portion and live on the stage. Cheers. I I wonder if it might spoil the magic Disney creates if the kids see this tour. Sometimes it’s better not knowing! 16 yo is required. Didn’t ruin it for DD. |

First tour of the morning. You will get in park before it opens. When the park opened, loved seeing everyone rushing in from the "other side".
Since we know it gets hot fast, early is best too. There will be plenty of stops to listen to your guide - they do try to take you in a shady area for those few minutes (yes, we wait in line for rides anyway). For me, I would prefer as early as possible.

My booking window opens in a day or two. Im actually going to book the 9:30. As iv heard this gives you chance to see the FOF getting ready. Also gives me a lie in !
