We use to go every year. We also use to go to ESPN weekends too.
Even though Disney has Star Wars land, there is no reason why not to at least celebrate this weekend. They are missing opportunity. Add back the Storm Troopers at the entrance, march the storm troopers down the streets. Add back special fireworks and meet & greets. Quick....Somebody get me Iger on the phone.

While going this time of year is a no go for me (school stuff) I will say that they really are missing out by not having more for SW weekends. Those were awesome!

Anyone see the light saber pics of the gathering at night, in Star Wars land? Pretty cool that SW fans can organize stuff like that.

we miss Star wars weekends so, so, SO much. They actually played a big part in our buying DVC, and buying at BWV. and we started buying APs because of that, to work in 2 trips for SW weekends. The character meet/greets were just the best, and there were so many. I"ll try and dig out some of our favorite pictures and post. I do not understand at all why they can't/won't do these again, or set up another meet/greet place like Launch Bay year round, or just for months of May/June, or whatever.

We are at Jazz Fest in New Orleans for the past 10 days. And even with all the music theming, we did see a Star wars shirt yesterday and the Fairgrounds  Cheers. |
