That didn't last too long. When did it open??? March 1st 2022 So it’ll have run for 18 months. The announcement pretty much acknowledged it was too pricey although they said it was one of their most creative projects ever.

Fast indeed. I know a few people who did it and the reviews were unanimous. Really cool and entirely not worth the cost paid. Hopefully some of the bits and pieces will find their way into other projects. I heard so many raves about the food offerings. Maybe a better bar menu at Oga's? And all the role playing crew can bring much needed interaction to Blackspire?

Did anyone here experience it? Any plans to do so before it closes?

Did anyone here experience it? Any plans to do so before it closes? We’re booked for the June 6th voyage! I always had a feeling it was going to be too good to last. Every spoiler free review I’ve read has been extremely positive. Our friends just got back and they weren’t complaining about what they paid. They were blown away! We’ve never done anything like this and just getting ready has been a blast. We’ve all got back stories and costumes for each day and the regalia. I honestly can’t wait!!

Yeah not shocked at all. Most unpaid reviews I read were meh to cool but not worth the cost. Very few were just entirely positive. They hosed upon so many levels and a ton of real star wars fans were disinterested before it had a chance. Dear Disney the ones with money don't want Rey

Dear Disney the ones with money don't want Rey This. If we were talking original trilogy, prequel trilogy -- heck, even Clone Wars or Rebels timeline -- it would be very, very different. At least at my house it would have been.

Re-theme it to Toy Story; make it a reasonably priced immersive Andy's House/Andy's room "sleep over"; include Lightning Lanes for all of the TS rides, and meals at the bbq place and Woody's Lunchbox.
Or don't spend that money and bring back the Citizens of Hollywood.

OMG this is crazy news! Weird that they are just straight-up closing it, rather than making some changes to take advantage of the very real demand that is there at a lower price point.
Literally every conversation I've had or seen around Starcruiser went along the lines of "yeah it's cool, I'd love to do it, it's just waaayyyy too expensive." I feel the same way. They could have adjusted the offering to be able to provide it at a much lower price point and then it would have been booked solid a year-out!

Way to throw the baby out with the bath water to not even try to adjust. Unfortunate all the way around. Our youngest DD’s family of 3 were always planning to do it, in fact they’re planning to book a trip in August. This news should push them to decide. Perfect for a 12 year old boy.

At least at my house it would have been. Food for thought... Star wars could be renamed to the "Tragedy of Anakin." While fun, the sequels don't fully work in that narrative. Conversely, the series Obi Wan did and I found myself wanting a lot more with that project. Not sure I'd pay $5200 though.....yikes.

I’m expecting them to absorb it into Galaxy’s Edge in some way.

If they're smart, they'll create a bookable tour like the Wild Africa Trek. Get a half day experience with a meal at the end. I'd do this. Let me travel from Galaxy's Edge to the Halcyon, do some activities like lightsaber training or some kind of mission, and then feed me in the dining room. Set the storyline to be prequel or original trilogy timelines -- but change it up on a regular basis. OR make the storyline be a regular schedule. Maybe something like...
If you want something prequel/Clone Wars/Rebels/Rogue One/Andor timeline -- book MWF If you want something original trilogy timeline -- book TThSat
Give people the power to choose multiple adventures and that's what will keep them coming back. It's a little like injecting some of the magic from Star Wars Weekends into this.
That doesn't solve the problem having 100 sleeping rooms untenanted.
I hope they don't take forever to figure this out.
