I’ve been staying quiet about my response as don’t want to come across too negative but what the hey….. Nope, NOT good enough. Seems to be a common action in todays environment. Take away a lot, then trickle a little back in to make everyone excited (and accepting) and then that’s the new norm. I’m still holding out for no park reservations period. Then I’ll be accepting and happy.

The no park reservations after 2 pm I’ll take as a HUGE win!
Maybe I'm missing something, but park reservations are not required now to hop after 2. Can go anywhere at that point.
Cheers.

You could make it the post about nothing like I did with the thread about nothing. No emojis on my phone. I know it’s little but I am glad they did this.

Another hopeful vote for Tables in Wonderland. The Disney Dining Plans aren’t back yet, maybe after? I certainly hope so.
As for the after 2pm thing it’s HUGE that we are not required to tap into that first park. We probably won’t even make park reservations at all. HUGE. Better that they get rid of park reservations but this modification appeases me for now.

And since we go to parks in the morning, this does nothing at all for us. So a non-improvement in our case. Even park reservations are not a big deal for us as we can always plan where we want to go. Our big issue is 2PM hopping. Make the hopping restriction earlier, or even eliminate, would mean something to us.
Cheers.

We just are not morning people.

We just are not morning people. On first days of travel we sometimes don't arrive until after lunch. Those days when we aren't sure what we want to do, I am glad that for APs we won't need tickets. I made a park reservation for our March trip but it would be nice not to have to.

What I really am dying to see is if the price structure for the Starcruiser changes so that normal people can actually afford to book it or would be willing to take a chance with booking it. This is not my cup of tea, but my son would like to do this. I'm not sure who he'll take with him as his wife would not be interested

Hopping is big for us, and the 2 PM restriction sucks. Since we own and BWV, (prior to the 2 PM thing) we'd frequently do a park in the morning then go to Epcot 12-1 for lunch. Or monorail from MK to Epcot to do a ride or two before walking back to BWV.

It's better to see WDW moving towards more guest friendly rather than less.
No reservations for APs after 2 is great. No reservations at all would be significantly better, but this goes on the pro/con list for the decision to renew AP or not as a definite positive.

Josh came out still in favor of park reservations…bummer.

Cheers.
