Not at all interested in buying any more DVC anywhere, but would like to stay there one day.

Especially since we are locals now I don’t see us buying anymore DVC points. Now if everything goes to heck like it did when they started selling the GCV points and they offer super cheap deals with developer points like they did then I may not be able to turn it down.
Overall I think Glamping is thing right now and if done correctly it might be a lot of fun but from what I have seen from the concept art it isn’t Glamping but a way to get lower end DVCs built cheaply.

Maybe. I love FW. But we are tied up with our own campground right now.
I get why DVC members don't like it. I would have preferred Reflections to bringing DVC to FW. But I also recall a lot of comments over the years about the cabins being kind of a DVC lite or intro to more comfortable vacations at WDW.

I think a lot may depend on the point charts and any potential restrictions on buying and using points for other resorts similar to restrictions on Riviera. But if (and it is a big "if") the points are low for the cabins, it might be a "gateway" for people who would not typically consider buying or renting DVC to get them into the door (literally ) of the cabins and decide maybe owning DVC is worth it. DVC are "deluxe" resorts at Disney and if the cabins are "moderate" DVC resorts, they may bring is some new DVC owners. At the same time, I would not be surprised if the cabins becoming DVC are a way for Disney to get DVC members to pay for various items associated with a DVC resort. Driven more by financial/accounting benefits than driven by a pent-up marketing demand from customers for the DVC cabins. AS a separate comment, I do not consider any DVC resort to be "deluxe". If it wasn't for "location, location locations" by Disneyworld, I can not imagine many individuals would stay at the resorts paying for a "deluxe hotel".

You bring up a point......I know there are still lots of people with Covid PTSD. They are finally getting out and about, but are still very cautious. A resort like this gives them separation and the space they want.

I don't consider any Disney resort deluxe period. Not even with CL levels and suites

The trailers were our version of DVC as it had two distinct sleeping areas, a large bathroom, a full kitchen and housekeeping (more pillows, please). I didn't have to worry about disturbing the neighbors (lets face it, kids play, cry and fight). There was a picnic table to enjoy and the golf cart pulled right up to the door. The kids were young and the only park they enjoyed was MK (Epcot too educational and HS was too loud). The campground had a boat direct to MK, had its own pools and, IMO, the best water recreational area as I could see all my kids at once and there were still water slides, tubing and food. They had movies with smores and a character pre-show (the pre-show is usually all we watched and then we'd leave). There were multiple stores, Hoop-de-do and restaurants on site, hay rides, petting zoo, biking, canoeing and stables. The kids never wanted to leave, which was good and bad as we had to use those pesky park tickets.

Its more like Theme Park Deluxe, which I could live with as a description. The closest WDW Deluxe Resort is the Four Seasons

I'm in the "Huh?" category as I didn't know that this was happening. But definitely no interest. BWV anc BCV are sufficient for the next 20 years.
Cheers.

Speaking of which, another very nice breakfast at Ravello yesterday. Becoming a more frequent option for me.

Just watch out since some mornings it's character (Mickey and Goofy, maybe Minnie), and the others it's not. Typically quieter on the non-character days, of course.
