EXPLORE THE WONDERS OF WATER! We are thrilled to offer a special sneak peek of Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana for eligible Disney Vacation Club® Members before it opens at EPCOT® in late 2023. The attraction will be a self-guided outdoor trail where you can play and engage with water as it travels from the sky to the oceans and back again. Just like Moana’s friend the ocean, water will have a personality of its own, helping guests learn how to protect the natural water cycle in a fun and engaging way. Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana will be the first Disney Parks experience evoking the hit Walt Disney Animation Studios film.
Disney Vacation Club Member Preview: Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana When: September 24 – 29 & October 1 – 4, 2023 Time: From park open through 5:00 p.m. Where: Check-in will take place at the Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana entrance, across from the Coral Reef Restaurant in World Nature. Who: Eligible Members with a valid EPCOT® theme park reservation and valid admission to EPCOT® on a preview event date
Advance preview registration is not available for this event. However, you and your guests must have valid admission and a theme park reservation to EPCOT® on the day of the preview. If your theme park reservation is for a different theme park (and not for EPCOT®) or if you enter EPCOT® after 2:00 p.m. without a park reservation, you will not be eligible to participate in a preview that day. Admission to the preview event is subject to capacity limits.
Check DisneyVacationClub.com for eligibility and other important information.

It's okay, I have another trip booked for December and will plan to catch it then. I really like Moana, well, everything except the "How Far I'll Go" song. That one just doesn't do it for me.

We will be there at the end of the month. If the lines are not long, we will walk thru. If I miss it, no big deal.....we will be back again and again.

I'm there for a quick trip with only a single morning at Epcot planned. So just missing it, but truthfully I am far nore happy about walls coming down for next year than anything else. It looks cute but this has taken forever.

I miss cutting across from the pathway between Connections and Creations to the Land. We are Epcot people and the last few years have really made me annoyed there. Now announcing another fedo of Test Track. Just quit mucking our favorite park and ride.

Unfortunately not open at night for previews, but understandable of course. Perhaps one of the weekend mornings, apparently only Sundays.
Regardless, quite pleased with what I’ve seen of it thus far. A cute plus without a line that pleasantly occupies my time beats any freaking roller coaster in my book.

We'll just miss this in October, but maybe they'll be doing some sort of soft openings. I'm a sucker for water elements, fountains, dancing water, etc. but as a whole, dont' love walk through attractions. Maybe it'll be like one of the AK trails. Doubt we'll ever go out of way for this, but if we're hot, neat a place for a quick, cool water mist, might do it. Otherwise, I agree with others, I'm just SOOO happy the walls will be down!

Just to temper expectations, the rest of the central part of Epcot isn’t opening until early December.
So the walls won’t all be down by the time Moana opens.

We just got back last night. They had a preview event for employees for Moana, and we were able to walk by and peek in. Yeah, lots of water. We will miss the preview days as well. Being there last weekend, it was nice just to being able to walk straight to Connections without going around Guest Services and Past Guardians. I miss cutting across from the pathway between Connections and Creations to the Land. We are Epcot people and the last few years have really made me annoyed there. Perhaps one of the weekend mornings, apparently only Sundays. Regardless, quite pleased with what I’ve seen of it thus far. A cute plus without a line that pleasantly occupies my time beats any freaking roller coaster in my book. We also found the navigation a bit better, so signs of hope. Still miss the cut through also, but it is better. We were talking with some other DVC owners who mentioned that Test Track redo (had not heard of it) and they were much in favor. One guy's comment "about time." He felt that the movement was too slow and jilted and this was more likely to be an improvement. Given how old it is and how much tech has advanced, there is a lot of head room, Holding out hope. Cheers.
