I thought AP holders could go until park close? I know DVC is only until 5pm. Hmm, good point, thanks! I’ll check. Notice I saw in MDE for AP didn't give a time. Slightly bummed I'm just missing it but get Soarin over CA hopefully instead in Oct. Doing just a Sunday morning at Epcot on the 8th before flying home at 4pm.

Tired of the walls. Moana doesn't seem like much of a draw - kinda like the butterfly garden with water instead of butterflies. Whatever - we'll walk thru at some point. It would just be nice to see all the walls come down as they seem like they've been up for several years. Sorin' returning to Cali is good. Test Track ... geez, I hope they don't mess that up.

And this is why it's great that they have different things for different folks. We love the butterfly house, and the Moana water attraction looks like it will be much fun. Everyone else can go stand in line at Frozen
Cheers.

I want the modern city back. They had similar vibe in SSE for a while before they gutted the ending with awesome music. Would be nice to get either back somehow.

We just got back last night. They had a preview event for employees for Moana, and we were able to walk by and peek in. Yeah, lots of water. We will miss the preview days as well. I miss cutting across from the pathway between Connections and Creations to the Land. We are Epcot people and the last few years have really made me annoyed there. Now announcing another fedo of Test Track. Just quit mucking our favorite park and ride. Unfortunately not open at night for previews, but understandable of course. Perhaps one of the weekend mornings, apparently only Sundays. Regardless, quite pleased with what I’ve seen of it thus far. A cute plus without a line that pleasantly occupies my time beats any freaking roller coaster in my book. We were talking with some other DVC owners who mentioned that Test Track redo (had not heard of it) and they were much in favor. One guy's comment "about time." He felt that the movement was too slow and jilted and this was more likely to be an improvement. Given how old it is and how much tech has advanced, there is a lot of head room, Holding out hope. Cheers. I'm looking forward to the water thing. We like the butterfly house, too! Also excited to see what the alluded-to "World of Motion" nods will be. I want the modern city back. They could really smooth it out a lot and make it so much more pleasant, like Radiator Springs Racers in DL. I don't really care for any part of test track right now, except the "power" test that goes outside. The rest I just suffer through.

Hmm, good point, thanks! I’ll check. Notice I saw in MDE for AP didn't give a time. I read that the annual pass previews are from park open to park close. I will be checking with a cast member to make sure, though. My daughter and I would like to see it once in the daytime and once at night. DVC previews stop at 5:00 PM, I believe. Really happy that the previews are starting while we are there!

Watched a video this evening of a youtuber going through the new Moana Water thing. Looks right up my alley.

Our daughter did a walk through several weeks ago and it looks pretty cool, I have a little concern that with all of the interactive opportunities how it will work when it gets crowded. We are doing a preview on Friday, they may not let us post pictures but I'll report back.

I have also walked thru at night with cast previews. I enjoyed it especially watching guests of all ages interact with Ocean … so I will keep my comments positive until you all have walked thru …. Then we can compare it to the original entryway to Future World with the Fountains of the World (Day & Night Shows ) … for a fun discussion.
I hope Epcot continues to keep the other waterplay area by Test Trak and the Jumping Leapfrog Fountains in the Imagination Pavillion .
In the meantime Journey of Water is World Nature Dreamers Point will be World Celebration with Walt Disney Statue . Is this the location for Communicore Hall & CCPlaza? The other neighborhoods will be World Discovery and World Showcase …

I went yesterday afternoon for the preview, I was fairly pessimistic going end but was pretty impressed coming out. There were several opportunities to interact with the water and certainly multiple opportunities for kids or those of us who refuse to grow up get wet (or even soaked) or get others in your group wet. It is pretty small which is probably the biggest issue and I think they will need to keep some kind of entry control to keep the area from getting overwhelmed. My overall impression is that Disney gets a well done for this area.
