Unpopular opinion: Sick of seeing the festival booths. But that's just me I was just about to post something related, but not the same.
The booths use to mean that something special a unique was taking place. Now the booths are there all the time. Yes, the menu changes some and some "festivals" have more booths. But it is no longer something special to see and do for us. Its gotten the point that I don't even bother reading up on all the booths before a trip.....no need to.

Yes, you are right - we all can remember seeing the PR that basically was like "while you are here on your next trip, come to our special festival!" and we'd be like "yay! Special fun booths!"

For me, their ubiquity has made them mandatory. Epcot seems lacking if there’s not a festival going on. Only about four weeks a year now, however, ha.

Unpopular opinion: Sick of seeing the festival booths. But that's just me I have never been a fan of the booths somehow standing in the heat eating something from a hotbox over a trash can as a table doesn't appeal to me. I will say it had gotten better with sufficient tables and better forms of serving containers but it is still not my thing. It seems to me that this has become more of a way to avoid pulling permits for buildings than it is a festival (if they keep that booths open for 6 months or less they are temporary). I miss the various lunches and the PFTS. If you do enjoy food events I would suggest that you check the FB pages of Epcot and DS restaurants because several do put on special events all year around.

I was looking at booth options for the F&WF. Honestly F&GF has it beat now IMO with more and better food options. Disney still has me a bit grumpy. I know my PVB will be up for sale but there are times when I go "meh" no thanks. I'm still really bitter about Morocco the way it is now. For me, Food & Wine Festival booths was only half of why to go. The seminars, specialty dinners, hoe to classes and parties was the other half. That is what made the festival stood out from everything else. Those seminars were the best and definitely what set F&W apart. We’ve opted for F&GF the last two years over F&W. Also seems to be a bit less of a “drinking festival” even though there are some really nice cocktails to enjoy at F&GF. We’ve also enjoyed Festival of the Arts.

I hate standing and eating.
