Big news out of Walt Disney World Resort! Beginning Jan. 9, 2024, guests with a ticket with Park Hopper benefits or an Annual Pass will be able to once again visit another theme park at ANY TIME OF DAY during park hours (subject to capacity limitations). As a reminder, since returning in 2021, Park Hopper access has only been available after 2 p.m. each day. Still making APs do park reservations *grumble grumble* we'll have to see how the "good to go" days go. I'm really miffed about that still. Especially given yet another AP increase.

Especially given yet another AP increase. Did I miss this? Big picture, whole day park hopping, despite still having to make park reservations, feels like we’ve been let out of jail. Another huge step toward normalcy. Yay! |

Especially given yet another AP increase. Did I miss this? We paid $1068 for Sorcerer + Water. That combo would be $1098 now so +$30. PhotoPass and Water Park adds are still +$99 so looks like the hit was on the base price. Incredi +$50 Sorcerer +$30 Pirate +$50 Pixie +$40 So we got the smallest increase at +$30 for the DVC pass. |

Another huge step toward normalcy. Yay! Yes $30-50 increase on all APs. I think $50 on Incredipass, $30 on Sorcerer , $50 on Pirate and $40 on Pixie... I could be wrong but that's what I thought I read. I'm honestly really annoyed at this park reservations crap. Yes 2pm park hopping is great but reservations suck. Seriously might not add on at this rate. I'm over planning each day. Eta slow typer lol see above! |

This is the best news ever. For us, the park reservation thing is just about a non-issue as we can figure out in advance where we want to go (we always did before). So that part is easy. Yes, I know that others make more spontaneous plans, but just talking about us. Hopping, though is HUGE. We can go wherever we want, and then hop to Epcot for F&W.
Disney have just removed my single biggest gripe!

To be fair this is great, but no, I don't plan each and every day usually. Didn't even with FP+. Especially summer travel some parks are better in rain than others. I feel like as an onsite guest, I'm being punished for going many times a year. Seriously so annoyed they are digging their heels in on this one. Really at the point of selling off instead of adding on. Sounds silly I'm sure but I think we've been patient enough.
