There is a new DVC Welcome Center at Disney Springs, and it will have a lounge there. But already there’s some confusion, with posts on Twitter that this is the previously announced lounge.  That's the confusion I've seen. Is this the new announced lounge or what? Though I don't really use X to see what's there. But elsewhere. I don't think DVC is on X in any official manner too so I just follow FB stuff. Disney's TikTok channel too lol |

But it is Brooke Geiger McDonald who, along with Scott Gustin, seems to get info direct from Disney - and posts it before the DisneyParksBlog can get round to it. |

I see Scott's stuff posted elsewhere. I just don't do X for personal reasons (and I no longer call it by its old name as X seems fitting) For this, I didn't see it anywhere else first. The link and screen shot I have is on DVCs FB page which is where I've seen other screen shots including WDWmagic got it from. Brooke's post on X came from FB as well. |

I have found that some travel-related companies (airlines, event TSA) and the New Orleans Jazz Fest use Twitter and it works really well for contacting them for fast response and/or info. That's all I use it for. No followers, no following. Like once a year kinda thing.

My work uses FB and IG. We should do TikTok too but... no X AFAIK (no way my boss would support them). So I use FB for that and school related stuff. I have found that some travel-related companies (airlines, event TSA) and the New Orleans Jazz Fest use Twitter and it works really well for contacting them for fast response and/or info. That's all I use it for. No followers, no following. Like once a year kinda thing. Cheers. Spouse has fone it in the past that way. Haven't had a need recently. Reports in multiple places say this was not the announced lounge. I'd believe that based on how this was presented.

Not an April Fool. Len Testa spoke about it on his latest pod cast and believes it should be confirmed soon, although he wasn’t the original source. Possibly Blog Mickey? And WDWMagic reported it when he was convinced it was a legitimate story and appears to have been backed by a couple of well-respected posters there. |

Welp....There goes another piece of Disney legacy. Pieces will be coming to an auction house near you!
I would like to see a DVC lounge in MK, I would rather that they tap into a unused space or under utilized space.
No one asked for Disney to take away an attraction for this.
