The shooting gallery is bigger than you think.....look at the overhead view on google maps. Plus, if they boot the sunglass store behind it, the lounge becomes very big.

We've always loved the Frontierland shooting arcade. Spent time there every trip with our son, and just did with our son and grandson. Lotsa good memories there!

DH has lots of very happy memories of the shooting gallery, from when he was a kid, and enjoying it with his dad, to doing a little bit with our kids, but he's only done a few times in the last 10 years. About a year ago, he said the guns weren't working right. While it's nostalgic, if they're not going to update it, I'm glad with something else coming. I never went there. I just hope this lounge has a much larger capacity than the Epcot one. That one is kind of off the beaten path, which might deter people from going, but this location in MK, is very convenient. I think it'll be busy all the time! I am glad they're planning to put one in each park. Even this last spring break trip, the kids were the ones who brought up going. THey both enjoy the AC, a cold cup of water/soda, and just hanging out, recharging for a bit.

I will miss the Shooting Gallery, and I am glad I got my grandson to give it a try on our last trip together. I have fond memories of my husband and now 40 year old son shooting there when my son was a child. While it is free now, we used to pay for it back in the day.

While it is free now, we used to pay for it back in the day. The shooting gallery is free? When did this happen! We are talking about the one over by Pecos Bill's and Country Bear, right?

Yes, it has been some time now, I think the last trip I had with all the family was in 2022 and we all played for free then.

I think it’s been free since it returned after Covid. Not sure if it came back when the parks re-opened or some time later.

We stumbled upon it a few years ago while we were waiting for something and my kids found out it was free, which was a pleasant surprise, but I don't remember ever reading about it.

Didn’t think the shooting arcade area was big enough, but also have not been there in several years. Definitely expecting crowds for any location, especially at Magic Kingdom, and would prefer a larger useless space with potential views like Stitch.
Oh well. As always, we shall see…

Last day for the Frontierland Shooting Gallery is June 23, our arrival day. We do have Magic Kingdom reservations that day, so I'm sure we will try to get over there for one last shoot. My son always enjoyed it.
